I decided on something for my version of herotale. there are 3 notable types of timelines. 1 a hero timeline (this is basically the good timeline, a timeline with the best ending). 2 a tyrant timeline (this is an ending that has aspects of a hero timeline but is missing at least 1 detail, this results in an act of tyranny being required for the ending). and 3 a villain timeline (it is the bad ending, an ending where nothing good happens), how I'm going to do the story of herotale is one of these types of timelines at a time (the hero timeline will show an unempowered mc dealing with stuff in the story and wining the heart of the people. a tyrant timeline will show an unempowered mc gain some power and become someone who is both loved and feared by the people, the villain timeline will show an unempowered mc gain all the power they can and become both feared and hated by the people)

I'm beginning work on the next part of the story of Eldritchdust (I feel like the next 3 parts will be the last ones, mostly because it fits to continue it into divinetale), I'm also thinking of making an intrigue/fantasy related au to help show the baseline amount of power other au's have (it's not through crossovers or anything like that, but rather that they are cannonically the least powerful au in my Undertale multiverse)

i feel like people aren't understanding something about eldritch dust. yes he is the villain and will win in the story (kind of a rarity among villain characters), but he's not supposed to be a likeable character (kind of like the joker in that regard)

Tbh. If I was nabstablook irl, then it would be a version of him without depression and has a better idea of how a business works (snail racing is a waste of in game money, the only way it could work and be popular is if it was done somewhat similar to horse racing as an example but with nobody on top of the snails for obvious reasons)

The quality of the time racing snails is debatable. but you can never profit from it as a source of money, and I was saying that you don't make more than you spend by racing snails
