When I first saw the title, I was like," *Wow, I'm not the only one that used to play toontown in real life and throw cupcakes at my relatives!* " Then I watched it and thought," *Dang it, I still am.* "

My relatives and I used to actually plan everything out. We had people who were cogs, and we had "playgounds". We even went as far as to dropping flower pots on our relatives heads who were the cogs.

I remember going to Disneyland as a kid when I was 9. I think I had gotten Toontown like 2-3 years prior and had been a massive fan, so when I heard there was a Toontown in Disneyland I lost my mind. I had so much fun pretending to be a toon that day.

Imagine Loopy's Capturable Playgrounds Concept, but with the Gag Factory, instead of the Gag Shop. You could get Gag XP boosts if you fought in taking back the Gag Factory, and you would receive Gag Buffs, improves your current gag's abilities and stats for a while, if you helped take back the Construction Zone with the Silly Meter.

Actually both the game and the theme park areas are based off a Disney movie called Who Framed Roger Rabbit. In fact alot of Disney rides either have movies they are subtly based on (For example the Matterhorn Bobsleds are based on an old Disney film called Third Man on the Mountain and Splash Mountain is based on Song of the South) or inspired movies based on the ride (Jungle Cruise and Space Mountain being examples)

Last summer my family went to Disneyland and I was SOOOO happy to see toontown!! I seriously almost cried 😅 It was just fun to see it come to life! This was before I got into rewritten(I had only played shortly back in 2014). It was so cool! I hope you get to make a trip there!

I went to Disney World in 2010 and the Toontown area was one of my favorite areas, mostly because of TTO. Sadly, last time I went in 2016, it was gone. :( BUT I did go to Disneyland for a day in 2015 and went straight to Toontown and met Goofy and all the nostalgia came right back.

In Florida’s disneyland I remember they had the Toontown’s irl but they took it out the next time I went there. It was so cool to see things irl from toontown but it sucks they took it out :-(

yeah it's disappointing, but I heard what they replaced it with was fairly neat afaik

LoopyGoopyG What's interesting is if you look closely at the "Great Goofini" posters for the replacement attraction there, you might notice they appear suspiciously similar to the late TTO newsletter/web art!

It's an off-chute of Fantasyland, but Toontown will always be my favorite land at Disney

Yes the original Disneyland in Anaheim CA, Tokyo Disney was actually Disney's third park (after WDW)
