I've been watching "Saving Hope", and have noticed that Priestley directed a whole bunch of the episodes. Re: Joshua Jackson, I think that his part on Fringe is my favorite of his roles. It was such a great, yet under appreciated series. Re: Ryder Strong: My longtime crush was on his on screen and off screen gf Larisa Oleynik. But, in multiple ways, I can identify with the Shawn Hunter character, and love that GMW gave him his well-deserved happy ending. On the note of female heartthrobs of that decade. Amy Jo Johnson (who hasn't Googled IMDB to see where her career's gone?), Maria Bello (while she was in her 20's when on "ER", Mario Lopez and Van Der Beek were in their 20's when playing teens), Calombe Jacobsen (Julie the Cat), Christina Ricci, and Rachael Leigh Cook. Even when she was violently angry in her "This is your brain..." commercial, I thought that she was hot, and whether it be teen romcoms, adult romcoms, or Josie and the Pussycats, I can't get enough of Rachael. ... I remember back to elementary school when one weekend, I changed the channel to the "Babysitters Club" movie. Rachael Leigh Cook, Christina Ricci, and Larisa Oleynik all one movie, and it was in many ways "thee stars aligning" in my eyes.
