But as you've brought it up, the most shocking of all was that it took three black women with the all important mathematical trajectories to get "man" to and back to the moon. That has been a closely guarded secret and only really made public for the past 20 years. takes time to get to that status, no investments yet in Energy, Mining and manufacturing either- that's where black folk need a presence. Finance is very important (need people/banks to invest in black start-ups) and entertainment is all good ( especially with all these multi billion dollar television rights deals), but if you want to be shot-callers, we need to be at least part-owners of the Fords and Boeings, John Deeres , Chevron and Exxons and Pfizers and Johnsons & Johnsons. Black people need a mindset change. I'm a child of the 60's and have been hearing the same mantra for decades. Black people (including some of my relatives) need to know it's more important that a child has educational tools as opposed to the latest $200 pair of sneakers. People need to teach their children how to behave properly. I get on the bus or on the train and which ethnic background of young people are showing their asses (misbehaving)? Our kids. What's the point of Black entrepreneurs investing in Black communities when social damage needs to be addressed at its root? Infusing money into Black communities is just the tip of the iceberg.

I agree but we don't need another crooked as politician. We need a people-oriented leader. Not one that's gonna get up before us with all of the political rhetoric and propaganda to soothe us into voting for them to really be involved in this election we need to do our research on these candidates and see them for who they really are. Go back into their past and see what kinds of issues have they supported in the past and things of that nature to really see and determine off this research if we vote for them or not. Another of the times our people just go and vote. We need people to really represent the pressing issues in our communities not in rural America.
