I really enjoyed this video! There were some great picks and you explained yourself really well. Also i noticed in this video that Adventure Time is really good at dealing with fathers while Steven Universe is really good at dealing with mothers (Sadie's mom, Connie's mom, Rose). Pie Guy, I think you are a one-of-a-kind critic. You deliver a really light-hearted, yet still informative and interesting point of view about the shows you cover. I feel that’s missing from the reviewer community. There’s always someone complaining about something and using very elaborate, formal arguments in a contantly agressive manner…or just yelling-not that I’m saying that everyone who does that is bad (after all, I am a big fan of Mr. Enter and the Nostalgia Critic). It’s just that you make people (or just me, I don’t know) feel relaxed and innocent for a bit, like having a nice conversation with a good friend about the last episode of your favorite cartoon. I hope you keep it up for as long as it makes you happy! Ooh! And I cannot wait for Season 7 of Spongebob!

I loved this video and the fact that you still "love" Adventure Time even after being disappointed by it's later seasons. I agree with all of your points against the show but personally only one or two things really bothered me. I think you're a really cool and respectable guy and I like how you view opinions. That being said could you make your next Adventure Time top 10, your top 10 Adventure Time characters/side characters. I just think that it'd be really cool to know who your favourite characters are and why you feel that way. Overall I really enjoy your content and I wish you the best for all of your future videos. :)

I probably said this before, but I'll say it again, CN owes a LOT of their success for the past 5 years in picking up Adventure Time, because with out it (as well as Regular Show to some degree) Cartoon Network might have never come out its period of Dark Ages, we probably wouldn't have Steven Universe on account of Rebecca Sugar was able to get her start at CN through the work she did behind the scene (most notably as a song writer) for several Adventure Time episodes (same goes for the creator of Clarence). Not only that, but we wouldn't get more mini-series if it wasn't for the success of "Over the Garden Wall, who again was created by a former AT crew member. Despite my feeling of the drop in quality it has over these past seasons, they hasn't been too pretentious in comparison to later seasons Spongebob. Most of all, I still commended it for bring Cartoon Network back to its former glory, and spatting in the face of Nickelodeon for not picking it up .

One of my favorites was Princess Cookie. It took many dark themes like ransacking, PTSD, and even suicide, and didn't make them feel over-the-top. They felt realistic and didn't try to make you feel disturbed. It tries to make you feel sympathy for the character you're initially not supposed to be rooting for. And who could forget, "Alvin's hot juicebox"?

What puts I Remember You above Simon and Marcy to me is how well they nail the wild mix of emotions one feels when having to take care of someone with Alzheimer's. On top of being heartbreaking seeing an important person in your life fade away in front of you, but it is also is stressful and tests your patience more than just about anything. Someone who can handle the job well in my eyes is an absolute saint. I also love how well they convey all the information they did while showing us so little of their past (In fact, I think they could have done without the flashback at the end as well.) and just letting Marcy and the Ice King's interactions paint the picture. Anyone who can do that is a master at their craft.

ShaneIsAwesome it's within the narrative style of a growing up story the only problem is they don't take chances with fin so it feels like he never learns. Marcy however as a side character can be developed and can learn with no real danger of kids not understanding and not liking the character because Marcy isn't a main character. All of these problems are why Steven universe is a superior show Rebecca sugar has been in all of the best episodes of adventure time and she takes many risks with Steven universe.

After watching the previews, this mini-series is mostly focusing on Marcy, getting more information of her past, vampires and seeing more of her and Bubblegum relationship (I'm Trash). I've sat through the first two seasons and I'm still not blown away. It's very loud, annoying, confusing, and non sensical. However I like a lot of the main characters, the voice acting, the beautiful animation, and when they do darker themes. It's not like I haven't found a couple of good episodes (the last episodes of season 2.) I'm not enjoying this series as a whole so I hope these are good.

Know what I would love to see? As time goes on, the curse on Finn's arm keeps growing and getting worse until eventually, he's forced to get rid of it and replace it with the metal one we see in so many premonitions.

to be honest, i like nearly all of the episodes. (nearly....season 6 had its fair share of "meh", but i still like season 6 a lot BECAUSE of the direction it's taking with the series.) so i really can't pin down my most favorite. it doesn't help i kind of power watched every episode, as well. (which if you're wondering took about 3-ish days including breaks)
