I have to agree with you on Finn. He has an awesome grass Sword and he has been able to lift entire tress, a huge monster in "Dad's Dungeon," and has ripped off the Lich's head and much more. Flame Princess even said in Red Throne "I have seen Finn defeat entire armies." WHERE IS THAT FINN? WHERE IS THE FINN THAT COULD TAKE DOWN ENTIRE ARMIES BY HIMSELF WITH A REGULAR SWORD, BUT NOW THAT HE HAS AN AWESOME GRASS SWORD AND THE SAME STRENGTH AS BEFORE, HE IS SOMEHOW WEAKER?!?!?! Like, what happened to THAT finn? He used to fight full grown mauraders, he has fought Marceline's Dad, the Lich, Ice King, and more.

Honestly, I know these vampires are much stronger than the average one, so I get that explanation... But why THIS weak? Like, how is it that he could go with that Mega stake and throw it at the Vampire King, and be tired after that, but he was a living dynamo in "Power Animal" and has lifted things FAR heavier without even wheezing or sweating. It stinks because I love the ending to this mini-series, but the way they showed Finn... Just no, man. It is weird because season 6 made him mature alot, and he seemed to be rather intelligent in season 6, but now it is like season 1-2 Finn without the strength!

David Suarez ikr (personly the ending was bitter sweet for me) but i also dont get why he was so weak plus lets not forget he dragged a gaint emrald to marcilne while she was stuck and wasnt tired what so ever. or when he was going though the neither sphere with jake its been shown though out the series that finn has huge amounts of strenght and durablity and this mini series made him like a push over more than anything. at the very least i can chalk up some of drain in power of him being just scared as it would make him somewhat weaker or he was unsure of himself also in power animal to befair they where shocking him alot to make him keep going.

I would like to see that taking back the kingdom ark were the people have to realize who is the better ruler and they are all alone and King of ooo and bubble gum battles it out and due to the Kings dumbness monsters get in to the kingdom because of the rock candy mine and Finn redeems himself and he goes through a hero ark talking about how he does nothing ( he still never used the new sword yet) and King of ooo gets kicked out.

Where there is no longer any bar rating good or bad votes but rather a pie-chart/graph chart to compare views to likes, respect and number of shares. That is if you want a comparrison chart, but it would be interesting to try without. But for those uploads which really should be brought to attention, why not just report them rather than disliking them a lot to get them noticed?! All the Dislike button does is depress everyone and encourages troll spammers to be that "one" or "two" that ruined it.

What you should have complained about is how that dark cloud was freed. I think it should have been by some new villain sneaking in during the night and freeing it and have that character come back later in the series but still see parts of his evil plan or hints on who he is.

ah when you mentioned a character that was done badly i knew it was gonna be finn. i was honestly disappointed in both finn and jake but you're right in jake's little mini-arc and his moment with the hierophant and i can appreciate that. i can understand why you'd be disappointed in the ending but at least it fits in thematically with the story. also i don't know when you stopped/re-started watching adventure time but it has sort of a legacy of shying away from doing new things. it's a curse. :( p.s. love the tarot cards

I didn't have as much issue with the ending. I just think they could have done more with the "but it still changes part". I love that the idea of things staying the same, yet changing was in there. I liked the idea that although Marcy may have stayed the same she has changed emotionally, I just wish it was a bit more prominent. I also wish they had kept the vampire king or something. I liked the idea of him being a returning character, and although it's a really interesting idea to have him be in her head it also is just her imagination, or what she thinks he'd be saying. I was kind of hoping for them to learn more from each other. The king seemed wise enough to learn from his long life, maybe he could teach Marcy to do the same or see things differently?

the thing I didn't like about stakes is the format. What I would have preferred is to have bits of the back story mixed in with the present to either elaborate on one of the vampire's character or give clarity on marcilenes emotion. thats what could have replaced the poinless gags. one format which I think would have made it alot more interesting is having marcilene remember details of each vampires while she was preparing or by herself

personally, this miniseries did nothing for me because of one missing element: motivation. for no reason characters make decisions that make no sense when you think about who they are as characters. for example, the beginning of the miniseries where Marcelline decides to not be a vampire makes no sense. for almost all of seasons 1-3 anytime Marcelline was in any episodes, she LOVED being a vampire! to all of a sudden want to not be a vampire because she "was a messed up kid" makes no sense to me. that's only one example, but there are more throughout this; like how Marcelline decides that she needs to kill the darkness instead of Finn after she decided not to, or how the farm people were so focused on killing her, but after Finn says one little thing they immediately regret it. when a character makes decisions that go against their natural tenancies for NO GOOD REASON it's hard to enjoy the story being told.

I liked the ending, though it was kind of sad she had to get bit again at the last second. It made sense, though, since the King stated if you lived as long as vampires do, events always repeat themselves, which even ties in with Everything Stays.

I really liked this minie series. I think Adventure Time *might* be getting out of it's slump. :D Still not quite how I remember it but at least it is getting better. I adored the song "Everything Stays". I have spent pretty much all of my life leaving and coming back to things and that song really really made me feel good and made lots of points in a nice simple way. Finn's behavior was really upsetting and strange to watch, totally agree. Hope that changes as the show continues. Fin still isn't super awesome acting from the episodes I've seen. Might have just missed some or something.

Thank you addressing the candy kingdom arc thing. I had a huge problem with that too, perhaps it was my biggest problem with the series overall and why I wasn't crazy about the last episode (along with a somewhat forced climax and Marcy being made a vampire again because status quo). Why wrap that plot point up here? It doesn't feel relevant to the story at hand and just feels really out of place, especially since this is meant to be a mini-series that is somewhat separate from the show.

Honestly, though I get the complaint of the end, I think that I like the ending because of how massive it is. it isn't just referring to the mini-series itself, with it ending as it began with "little changes" in between. This refers even more to the ENTIRE SHOW when you think about it. You still have your main characters, still crazy Ice King, the mysterious Vampire Marceline, somewhat Dark PB, and fun Finn and Jake. But along with that, they have definitely changed from the show's beginning. While the characters are still there, their personalities, experiences, and memories shine through them and they have changed.

Adventure time Season 7 has been good so far. Yes there are few bad episodes here and there but it is doing well right now and not completely terrible like other cartoons. And for the most part I have enjoyed Adventure time Season 7. However, the issue I have with Adventure time right now is that they're not developing Finn from Season 6 yet or any proper development whatsoever. Yes there is some great development with Bubblegum, Marceline, etc. but Finn lacks the development he needs for Season 7 especially after defeating a God and gain his grass arm sword back, well some of it since it seems to be inactive. I agree with PieGuy here because Finn seems really incompetent in some episodes and I just want to see him to pull through and out of his own depression. Like seriously the guy for most of Adventure time is going through a lot of issues and he still has to grow up. When are we going to see hi better himself or have a huge character development arc. I know Adventure uses overarching plots but we need more that involves Finn developing into something better even if he is on the screen most of the time. It just pains me to see that Finn is more of a side character in some of these episodes when he shouldn't. Yes there are episodes that don't mainly focus on Finn but when he is on screen for most of the time he either isn't having the biggest development or he is being incompetent which pains me to see because I want to Finn to grow stronger and smarter as well.

I agree with your thoughts on the Bubblegum Arc's resolution. I had to raise my eyebrows at the whole "No, we see that you're evil now! Get out!" thing from the banana guards. It just felt way too quick. I had a feeling that Crunchy would usurp the King of Ooo, its been set up that he's manipulative and I can see him biding his time and earning the King's trust until he took control of the throne, and of course no one would help him, Toronto booked it at the first signs of revolution, but I was disappointed at how quick the change was. It definitely deserved something more epic. But seeing KOO get burned was pretty satisfying since the character makes my skin crawl. And I was actually annoyed when Finn and Jake just stood there staking the Moon for the whole day. You would think that at some point, one of them would think that they should just take her to the lab since they weren't making any progress. I get that the joke is them misinterpreting Bubblegum, but I didn't find it that funny. Aside from that, I really like "Take Her Back" and "Everything Stays." And I'm glad you noticed that Finn's been acting weird. I first knew that something was up in "Breezy", where he went around kissing princesses to make himself feel better. It has really off-putting and creepy implications for our lovable heroine rescuing protagonist.

I really did like how the vampire king acted in this, he was my fav vampire in the series, and not just for design. but I will agree with you that the ending was incredibly weak and predictable, I too wish they did not wrap up king of Ooo's takeover so soon, and i honestly wish that with how crunchy tries to rule the kingdom afterward that we get to see if he does a better job than both Koo and pb combined I too wish they kept the arc going there, hell i personally felt KOO shoulda stayed ruler til the middle of the season, i was liking pb redeeming herself slowly and Koo's antics, but nope we got to wrap that one up as well...

While I'm still trying to watch the show to see if it deserves its fanbase, you have to give MLP FIM credit, when a big change occurs in the show, it is a big change (If you reply to me, don't give me any examples regardless of whether or not I might know about them because I'm still at season 1). I LOVE Stakes! It's honestly one of my favorite things from Adventure Time now. I really like how it all went. I do agree with some of the flaws you brought up PieGuy. But if you were to ask me, I don't see much of a problem with how it ended with things going back to normal. It's because they said at the end, Marcy felt like she was grown up. And that's actually true if you look back at how Stakes handled her development. Everything she went through made Marcy realize that nothing needed to change about her life and that all she needed was to open up more to her friends and the world. Basically, just growing up. While I do agree that maybe everything shouldn't have went back to normal, I still think it's an alright ending to Stakes and I honestly wouldn't want it to change. Although, I do agree with Finn being useless here, is sad. But I am hoping Finn will show he's still the same Finn who took down armies later in Season 7.

I have to say, the use of a Tarot motif is something I always love. And you adding onto it with stuff like Finn as the Hanged Man(represented his uselessness) is just icing on the cake. And if Stakes is anything to go by, I hope AT will keep this stride going. While I didn't hate or even dislike the last season, it was a bit too overtly existential. Like, every other episode was trying a bit too much to be deep. Jake the Brick being the biggest offender in my eyes, especially since it wasn't even tied in to the rest of the "arc"

I liked Stakes overall but I feel like the conclusion with the whole cloud vampire thing was weak as hell. We knew that ultimately Marceline was gonna have to live with of her Vampirism so having something as lame as them dropping the the Vampire King's essence and then having it turn into a giant cloud monster was kind of dumb to me.

Adventure time has sucked lately but this mini series actually was good yet we didn't need Finn and Jake actually. A sub plot is made then abandoned and won't see light of day. I think they should have kept it only about a Boy and his dog go on adventures. The other characters could have story actually do could have worked, but now I think they should wrap up the mushroom war into the movie being planned.

Personally, I feel that season 7 of Adventure Time has actually been very fun, and that is all I really want. We got a stop motion episode, some BMO episodes, random jokes, and just fun times with Finn and Jake. That is what I really want!!! It has been a great season 7 and I love it!
