Thanks for this guide!! I overinvested a little unlocking Shang Chi but have now switched to Rescue. Now working on getting Doc Oc ranked up better. For arena I’m focusing Vulture for now

Appreciate it thank you. Shang Chi is a pretty good stand alone character and I personally used him to help unlock Nick Fury and the mega orbs from his event. So investing in him a little bit is fine. But rescue is a great option for raids and Dark Dimension 1 so good choice

For new players I’d focus on level 50 teams not characters (so who does deadpool match up with and can they all be leveled or farmed and if not why not?) . Energy farms are important- start on characters needed for legendaries. Sinister six would have to be one of the first priority teams and even wave one avengers just to get through the basics. The reason they still work for beginners is both cap A and Hulk will be taken to tier 17 later. (Lots later). I think new players need easy to build/farm teams who can carry them through the campaign. It’s no good trying to build one or two members - you need all 5 with synergies. I’d focus on 4 teams (still do late game) at a time. 4 teams is 20 toons - that means picking a level to get them all too, picking a gear tier and then farming to 5 star possibly 7 depending on the requirement. From level 50-65 focus may change, some characters you do not want to waste resources on beyond lvl 50 like minions. Then at 65 I found things change and again at 70. Each of these are brackets and have different focuses and unlocks and even 75-85 will change again. At some stage you will pivot and do Apocalypse teams - so to have an eye on scourge event teams is crucial from lvl 50. Most if not all F2P have to be daily active just to grow and compete and will most likely be allowed to join an alliance that will carry them and teach a bit. This means their raid teams will be useless until they get to much higher level (probably a few months in). It might be worth levelling a pym tech or wakandan team (maybe not) so it all depends on the teams you can use in multiple modes. Eternals and infinity watch are amazing early game and still are heavy hitters late game. If I was new I’d want to know - which teams do I level/gear, who do I farm for shards? At what point should I stop as it’s a waste of resources? I agree that gambit and quicksilver are awesome but people who follow this video won’t know why they are awesome or who they pair up with. Also how to organise your farms separate from your resource spending is important- I use save squads extensively for this. My favourite toons are ones I’m levelling and gearing. My squads are my farms. I hope this is helpful as lots of new players rely on new guides for current info but their top 10 to farm should be characters within reach and it doesn’t hurt to just farm a bunch of early teams to 5 stars straight away just to have a roster for blitz and crucible. Early arena need eternals asap if they want to climb and get some good early rewards.

I know this is a big ask, but can you do some videos on the different modes? like Crucible and Raids etc, i just find the mechanics of them confusing. Like what is meant by tech raid?

Absolutely, sounds like a good idea. I will add some info about that into my next video. But to summarise it quickly here for you, in some raids, certain nodes have restrictions to the characters you can use on that node. Eg. Tech, Mutant etc

I disagree with the arena toons. You can only farm 10 shards a day. Unless you're in the top 20 then you can farm 20 shards. It would take 30 days to get 3*s for 3 arena toons. I think only one toon should be farmed from the aren upto 6*'s which you'll take to dd1. To help get kestrel. Cosmic crucible only gives toon shards once a week. So there's another bottleneck for new players. To unlock ghost rider rr takes 100 shards. Itll probably take a couple of weeks after you unlock cosmic crucible. Just for him to be ready for your roster. Youl'll probably have unlocked and geared Kestrel before you get him ready to be a significant force on your roster. My first target toons before level 50 is. 1. Captain America he's farmable like day 3 or so. His star level can directly contribute to raising the star level of doc oc. Which is right now the best legendary available to early accounts. He'll probably be your first 6*. Which you can take to dd1. 2. Doc Oc, three of his team mates can be node farmed very early. Mysterio, Shocker, and Green goblin. If your squad is full of sinister six members, he summons Vulture. Vulture is available in the arena store, early accounts don't have many choices in the arena store. So Vulture's power will be directly tied to Doc Oc. Vulture does a ton of damage all the time. 3. Gambit is unlocked free day 1 through the web store. He has a lot of impact immediately. You can put him in your arena team immediately and probably get into the top 3000 which will let you farm 10 shards a day. 4. Rescue, stick her with any power armor toons and thier power level gets much higher. She's available early in the raid store. Early accounts can easily average 1500 blitz tickets a day. So picking up 10 a day for her isn't so painful. 5. Electro same benefits as Rescue. She's Blitz farmable and she can fill the Doc Oc team so Vulture gets summoned. 6. Ikarus, hes Raid farmable. He's got a ton of self sustain. His aoe can be devastating if timed right. Just have it kill one enemy toon and he'll do it again. 7-10 I think should be based on supporting a players' meta pulls. Also the alliance that they're apart of is crucial. I joined a pretty active old alliance. I'm swimming in raid orbs now. Raid and Blitz toons have a lot of pairs which can be the foundation of weaker teams you haven't geared and leveled high yet. Your war store is also heavily reliant on how active your alliance is there. Iron Heart mkii is there, and also Carnage. Those'll probably help your account at higher levels. If not now.

I go over a lot of what your points in my other videos. 33 days in, just completed dd1. Have rescue, cap, carnage, vulture and cyclops at 6 yellow 5 red. Unlocked RR yesterday. Sinister Six is a great team but full of tech characters, building these will set you back on your tech raid team, costing you in the long run. In my DD1 character guide I mention which characters to farm directly to 6 stars. Will have a DD1 guide coming shortly :)

You definitely give a lot of good info for early play. Between level 1-50 or so a player unlocks around 80 toons. Most aren't immediately farmable. So us holders of accounts under level 65. Have probably already geared and leveled, the meta toons we have access to the max we can. My account is lv. 57, 39 days. It's been at least 10 days since Ive hit lv. 50. The resource bottleneck between lv. 45 and 65. Is where new players get burnt out imo. Everyone is talking about the new PTW meta toons. Or the toons you barely get access to post lv. 65. So you never really get a sense of what is a decent blitz or raid toon. That'll hold value for you helping you clear content. But shouldn't be invested in once you have access to top tier toons. Once again you give great info for newer players.

There is no way carnage and venom so high. They are weak outside of raids and useless without other hive mind.

This is a guide for players that are new to the game. Raids are the most important game mode for a new player to focus on to progress as fast as possible, that's why they are so high on the list. Not the greatest characters by any means but very important to farm and invest in
