I don’t think they are very opposite. I think they are little opposite, but they are similar too. I think they are more alike than Rachel and Ross or Phoebe and Mike. Mondler both had similar problem with confidence in love, and live. And they was underrated in childhood. They both always dreamed to be loved, and have stable live. I think they have more similar personalites, than see in first sight
