Thanks for the info perfect timing, I'm looking to pick up my first kit. Thoughts on the Mars Hydro 80x80x160cm including the FC 1500 Evo kit (Pros & cons)? Basically is the FC 1500 Evo really better than the FC E1500 and sufficient for this space? or any other recommendations/advice open to other brands too, any advice would be greatly appreciated (Europe)!

You can't go wrong with a Mars Hydro tent, I have three of them setup at the moment, but I would want a bigger light for the 80x80. The FC3000 Evo would be a better choice. And yes, I prefer the Evo series lights because they use the LM301H diodes.

@@RoosterGardens From my newbie research they look the best quality wise, especially since Samsung joined the party! Do you think its worth getting the 100x100 tent with the FC3000 Evo or would you consider it underpowered for this size? 200Euro extra for the better light and bigger tent (Kits). Also any Autos or Genetic recommendations? Sorry for all the q's but its a big investment for me. Thanks for you're help and advice really appreciated 💚💚💚

@@stevolyons18 One of my Mars tents, the biggest one, is the 100x100, and I love it. I have the FC3000 Evo in it, with the trio of supplemental lighting and it does a fine job. I also have a 91x91 with an FC3000 Evo in it. I have a Mars 60x60 with the FC-E1500. It's a nice fit for the smaller tent. The 1500 series would work in a larger tent, but if you're going to make the investment, go as big as light you can afford. A larger light will have better coverage, and chances are you won't need to be running it at 100%. My last grow, the light was never above 80% and did just fine. The 1500 would have probably have to have been cranked up to 100% most of the grow. And, my pleasure. Hope I can help.

@@RoosterGardens Thanks Rooster sounds like its worth saving a little more and going for the bigger kit, ill follow up with the add light bars early next year. I like the idea of not red lining the light on 100% as it improves the lifespan and allows me more control over light/temp, better PPFD. Can the 4"carbon fan still eliminate odors in the bigger sized 100x100? Id imagine the 100cm would take an additional 2/3 5 gallon fabric pots than the 80cm? Honesty appreciate you're time and help. I've watched a million videos/ read countless how to articles but it cant compare to real world experience. Now to decide on pot size (3 or 5 Gallon), growing medium (Leaning Coco 70/30), Nutrients and genetics (Trial and error). Cant wait to get going!!

@@stevolyons18 I started with the 4" fan in my 100x100. It worked fine, but like the lights, bigger is better. I upgraded to 6" fans in both my 100x100 and 91x91. They can run at lower rpms to move the same amount of air. All my tents are in my bedroom, so the noise reduction was nice, Lol. I normally run 4 5 gallon pots in the 100x100 with autos, and 4 3 gallon pots in the 91x91 with photoperiod plants. The 100x100 does of course have more room, and I usually have a few extra plants floating around between the three tents.

Thanks Leife, I've never heard of this brand, but at first glance it appears they have free shipping. Ill have to have a proper look at the light spectrum. Can i ask if you have used this brand and what set up you would recommend?

yup, I found Gambit Growing earlier a month or so back and I agree. They even have GIA GR supplies cheaper than most places I've ever seen ...so far.
