Just what I need; a video that makes me want to immediately replay all of my favorite huge open world games. Up for another go at Witcher 3, Forbidden West, Skyrim, and AC Valhalla, each of which I’ve already spent hundreds of hours on? Absolutely! It’s not like I need sleep. I may as well add on Zero Dawn for good measure as well.

Good list made even better by including "Ghost Of Tsushima". However, since most of these games are also available on PS4, I'll throw in one you left out..."Shadow Of The Colossus". For a game that's almost 20 years old, the map is fairly extensive & the world itself with it's mountains, lakes, forests, waterfalls, oceans, trees, flowers, is visually about as stunning as anything exclusive to PS5. That says a lot when you consider the PS4 remake is already 5 years old.

I have all except Skyrim but only beat Spidy, Horizon FW and Ghost. The rest failed to keep me engage within the first hour of gameplay. Elden Ring is definitely on my to play list but only after I beat the DS3 and Sekiro.

I love open world games. I know a lot of them are pointless map marker filled unimaginative wastes of time but there is a very small handful of them that tend to be some of my most enjoyable gaming experiences

Not got a PS5 yet so cannot comment on PS5 games. There's not many open world games that I played that I really enjoyed, but when done right, they're really enjoyable. I often enjoy older open world games than newer ones. A lot of them are tedious, too large, empty and a map of icons. The point of open world games is to explore and discover for yourself.

I want (and I know there are pc mods ect but I mean a legit one) a mode in elden ring where you can go vr and just wonder round and have a look at stuff, and the enemies just stand the idle so you can have a proper look.

Technically....TECHNICALLY, No More Heroes 3 is an open-world game. I would also like to give a shout-out to Forspoken and Gotham Knights as I enjoyed those a bunch.

Some of these first appeared on PS4 so can't say they're PS5 games. Games that launched on both, I'll give a pass though. But if counting any open world on PS5, I'd include Genshin Impact. It has a lot of flaws nor is the greatest game out there. But in terms of an actual open world, I've never once felt overwhelmed. Exploring the world was much more enjoyable, as I get to discover the majority of it for myself. Unlike most maps that are littered with icons. But the open world games I've enjoyed are usually early PS4 or older.

I can't access soiderman remastered for ps5. I had Miles for Ps4. I downloaded the Miles ps5 copy from the plus catalog instead of doing the free upgrade. Now there's no option for me to buy spiderman ps5 remastered. I've tried deleting and starting over but nothing works

I have 5/10 of these games literally bought forbidden west and preordered the dlc the day this vid came out on new game plus for zero dawn to platinum it want to try ghost the ps5 version got the platinum for p4 version ,elden ring and cyberpunk(hopefully the complete edition)

Whoever was playing Death Stranding doesn't know you can press L2+R2 at the same time to steady cargo On that note...Death Stranding is probably the best game ever made. There is no experience like it in the history of videogaming. Skyrim is a close second
