Also, a lot of backrow removal was mained back then, we had Heavy Storm, not sure if Feather Duster for a quick time. Decks used tons of traps, so decks used also tons of backrow removal. And VE is a card that should be used with the most precise of timings to be worth anything, not just ignorantly flipped before the opponent even moves.

Picture this: your against a phantasm spiral player going second. they play unexpected Dali to spec a normal monster, then normal summon another one. They then end their turn with three backrow. On your draw phase they activate royal decree, tyrants theroes , and imperial order.....

Oh, Solem Judgement; how I miss you. Such a powerful card that could come in clutch if used correctly. Excellent list, man. Trap cards are my favorite type of cards in YuGiOh and it sucks how the game has sped up to where it is really hard to play most of them. Hence, why I love decks like Mythic Spiral Radiance to which allows for hand activation of trap cards. :)
