Tip for the kharod, or any gun that you get from the Arena side quest in Rostok. When you complete a round in an arena, before going back into the room where you have to give the guard your stuff, drop the gun at the door, and push it with your body collision, over to where the safe is that you retrieve your items. You can then pick it up, and it won't be taken out of your inventory. You can get a free kharod and M701

To elaborate on that, what you need to do is cross the doorway to the safe, since there is a point which wipes your items, but only once, so walk through the doorway towards your safe, and then go back and pick up the stuff you dropped

You can get Mark I EMR with the scope and bunch of bullets on the top of the watch tower in Chemical Plant, where they have 3-4 watch towers in the base, it is on one of them(PS: not in the WARD BASE, on the other side of Chemical plant over the bridge), The place is called: ARMY WAREHOUSES to be precise. There are normal watch towers and one where you can find the EMR has no roof has some kind of pointy antenna. I explain it like this, so you dont have to go up and down, up and down and again and again and again. The one with the weapon is one and only, so it is on top of the roofless one, a big pointy antenna. PEACE OUT...

About the drum mag from wisps stash... If you go there and grab it before doing the side quest to find wisp you get one, once you find wisp and grab his pad you can go back and get a second drum mag for free :)

As a tip for Clusterf*ck, you can do the side quests right away, but the part where you get the Three Captains quest only comes up after mission 15 or 16 of the main missions

I agree on a lot of your reasoning behind your pics, but I would put the Clusterf*ck higher up the list. I always run a rifle or smg, and always have the Saiga shotgun on me. As for all of the ARs that I've tried using, I always come back to the Clusterf*ck. I use it on semi- auto only, as a DMR, and i can 1 tap headshot the EXO-suit Monilith. It's fully upgraded of course. Now, I don't put myself in predicaments where I have to run an AR at close range, where I'm trying to spam the trigger into the body of the enemies. I approached everything methodically and delete enemies from as far back as possible, but when I do get stuck at close range, I just swapped to the shotgun. I ran through a horde of monolith in a building and pripyat and the Saiga made short work of them.

Kharod and Dnipro got nice statistics and I think I know why people argue about them. They got maybe almost the same stats exept one that is not shown. The ammo spread. I tested it and looks like Kharod got lower ammo spread so its more acurate while Dnipro maybe got little bit higher dmg but ammo spread still sometimes force you to shoot more bullets.

That is why the Kharod feels "tighter" when shooting compared to the Dnipro. I think the only reason to prefer the Dnipro is the ammo conversion which does make it a monster but it still doesn't feel better to the Kharod.

I finished this game in 150hours, ive explored all locations and beat game (ward ending) and there is still loots that dont show up on ur map as a loot area. Theres so much detail to this game that im looking forward to redo this whole game after the bugs and fixes make this game alot better. I went from ak to m4 to kahord. I always carried a shotgun up saiga and added a sniper up until a got the guass gun. The guass gun was the best weapon in the game for end game missons.

I'm still only 30 hours in and yeah I can tell replay factor is like prey or metro exodus for sure, so many other paths and timing. I notice on some options chosen in conversation it will not really prompt if that last answer makes up the path like most kind of do, I denied the ward unintentionally but happy about my choice ! 😂 had watched Brian Menard go with the ward and I prefer my path but two totally different outcomes

I played 95 hours and I didn't visit all the locations yet but how cool is it it have a full spectre of freedom here. Just imagine if you would like to beat the game without any advices and youtube videos. You'll probably spend another life in this game and I think it is awesome. Hope there will be more patches with bug fixes and improvements so this game will be better in all the aspects. I am playing on veteran difficulty and trying not to rush and explore all the locations. And I am definitely will play this game again.

I'm pretty much the same. Went from the Drowned AK to the Combattant AK (mainly because I didn't upgrade the Drowned's penetration, which I did with the Combattant), to a fully upgraded Kharod right after SIRCAA. It's such a good AR, feels great to use. Shotgun is RAM-2, exchanged it for the Texan when I could get to it. The reload is a pain, but it hits so hard against mutants that I prefer it over the Saiga. I don't use sniper rifles, but I'm going to add the railgun that you get from the "In the Name of Science" side-mission. For some reason that last part of the mission won't clear for me though. I find the handguns lacking, only using them for small mutants like the jumping rats and dogs. Went from Skiff's gun to every other gun, all fully upgraded. Rhino is fun, but slow and not useful for my use of handguns. Using the Gambit now because it does the job and I like to use uniques.

You can actually find Dnipro in the cooling towers region. It’s near the fire tornado. You can go into portal and get the gun. It’s much easier to get them going to the red forest Also, you didn’t mention that you can get an extended 20 rounds mag for the gauss gun (or maybe skipped it but it’s not on chapter select of the video)

U can actually get dnipro early on in the cooling towers just north of the cement factory and repair it if u want it’s a superior end game rifle and is about 17k coupons to upgrade a worthy upgrade for the best at in the game and its just sitting around easy to collect

To the south of the area that the dead body is located in the chasm you can find a 100% kaharod in a little bunker off the side of a cliff you need to jump off the bus into the anomaly

Early in the video, you mentioned that SMGs are better than assault rifles and I kinda raised an eyebrow. Based on the in-game stat cards, assault rifles beat out SMGs almost every time for damage/penetration (except the Spitter). I went and looked at the actual gun-stats that were datamined and those also reflect the same. My real question is: how are SMGs better, and what would be your recommendations for SMGs to try?

Maybe for close range/tight locations, but I don't see how SMG's are superior other than in those situations. I did notice that his play style is very much duck and cover, which would make SMG's with their bursts more valid for him. But most people probably go into fire fights as a MAN, where the AR reigns supreme.

Cordon stands for "the cordon" the cordoned entrance. Technically the only place that can lead to the outside of the zone. Where its tied off from the rest of the world. So its cordon khordun

FYI the 74 designation in AK-74 means it's chambered in 5.45x39mm, the "U" means "under folding". The 47 in AK-47 means it's chambered in 7.62x39mm

The thing that makes Texan the better shotgun for me is that you can cancel the reload at any point and start firing, when i empty a saiga mag it feels like it takes ages to wait for the reload to finish, even worse if theres a jam. With the Texan it don't matter if youve only loaded 2 you can still start shooting and that alone has saved my butt

The problem with the 7.62 ammo for the dnipro is that no one sells it and you have to find it in the open world and if you cant find it, you cant use the gun.

You can get the saiga pretty early in the game. In the mission where you blow up a cave full of snorks together with some other dude. The "other dude" gets attacked by a snork and drops his saiga. that's where you can pick it up.

ClusterF*** is an excellent weapon...it's deadly, accurate and you can save a lot of ammo because it's semi auto but surprisingly very fast...as fast as you can pull the trigger...i can't just stop using it

I just kind of want to put this out there if you put ap. Rounds, in anything and aim for the head. It's gonna kill it, but if you want to get bent up on the logistics of doing body shots, then you do you bubble boo. But when you take into comparison, which gun is better, maybe look into what attachments you can put on there. This hole puncher with the cow rod with the silencer has gotten me through. I don't know, like 70 80% of the game.

I found the Dnipro in a building complex in prypiat in a stash…. Ugh I don’t remember the name of the stash but I think is the one with a passcode. has the extended magazine with the 7.62 mode already, I was like…. The heck? For the guy at the Chasm, Java had the Khorod, Rhino, and RAM-7. All in decently good condition too I accidentally sold the extended mag for the Khorod...had it on a Fora-221, didn't like it...sold it with the extended mag on it. So it's probably gone for good now

I just got super spoiled on the Clusterf--- with it's ability to kill enemies so easily that I actually hated the Fora-221. I just hate how the Clusterf--- wants to d-- in your hands each time you pick it up. It's both my favorite, and least favorite rifle...also why does it cost 30,000 coupons to repair it!?!? Next time, I'm gonna keep the Drown AK from in front of Garbage.

There is a stash in yantar west near coastline you just have to jump on a gravity anomaly to survive. I believe the Kharod will be there as well as an attachment for the rpm. You might have to find the code by trying to find it where the sign says where it’s at but you can always search it up. Since the sign is in Russian I have no idea where to find the code to the door that is inside that stash room so I had to cheat a little and search it up.

Man I wish you could get the suppressor in the game for the russian dmr without having to use console commands. I also wish the supressors actually functioned as intended instead of just looking/sounding cool. Another creator tested them and they have zero effect on enemy detection.

Dnipro vs Kharod depends on your play style. On paper, Dnipro is the winner, but Kharod takes underbarel attachments, like grenade launcher and the shotgun. The shotgun attachment is great, coz it has no durability. As for unique Rhino vs regular one, it does wears down slightly faster, but it has lower base weight than the regular one. Ram-2 vs Saiga is a difference between hip fire and ADS. Ram-2/Texan has higher base damage(Texan even higher), than Saiga and once you put all the upgrades into lowering bullet spread, Ram-2 becomes the most accurate hip fire shotgun in the game, allowing you to one shot EXOs while hipfiring. On the other hand, Saiga, once upgraded to slugs, has the highest range and accuracy among the shotguns, effectively turning it into rifle. The difference between Magrach and regular Saiga are the unique attachments, including holosight.

I really hope they unlock the attachments and make unique attachments usable on other weapons as well as collimator sights on rifles... Thats the only thing I am really not happy with in the game! Weapon modding feels like a last minute "just get it in somehow" decision

AP Zubr beats them all cause it can 1 shot just about every human enemy on a headshot only drawback is keeping stock of the ammo. #2 is definitely dnipro and both should be paired with the saiga with absolutely no reason to use another type of gun until they fix enemies targeting you from 100m away then maybe switch out the rifles with Whip most likely for a good close/long range balance but again ammo becomes an issue but in doing this you wont need to carry a 3rd weapon to cut your carry capacity

It seems to have more range than the Dnipro and NPC´s can be killed with headshot at larger disatances. 1 X Margach D-12MT (Unique Saiga-D12) with large magazine 1 X Model Competitor (Unique Rhino) for the Mutants All guns modded with blueprints and really easy takedowns of all enemies. A bit sad that the 9 X 39mm guns are so weak compared to the first Stalker Game

There is a also SVU extended Mag in Zatan on the Coast in a little Cabin. Oh and i just did a side mission near there where you have to unlock a door and let some dudes out. They were walking away but were killed right after by some enemies and each one had like 4 armors and 4 helmets and 4 sweet mint weapons, loads of Amo on each of them? I had to stash it all. Not sure if its a bug?

I think apsb is much better than rhino, with armor piercing ammo, even in veteran it can kill late game exoskeleton guys in a few headshots in a second because rate of fire is already high. Also with its reloading speed and with extended 30 ammo capacity, it is much more usable than rhino. With apsb, I think you dont even need any assult rifles

i honestly think the auto (3 round burst) piston is way better than the rhino revolver. with armor piercing rounds its a beast and when u get extendo clip for it and it can hold 30 bullets. i m tellin u it will kill 6-7 exo dudes in less than 30 seconds. where rhino is jus too slow

"Three Captains" also needs to have the "Find a Guide to the Swamps" Main Mission completed as well as Sultan and Beards two side-missions. The Kharod is also locked behind a door at the Yantar Dam. A RAM2 is available doing Doctor Viktorias Black Sheep Mission at the back of a safe stash There's a Dnipro at the Fire Whirl Anomaly the Cooling Towers area at the top of the Cooling Tower accessible by teleport. The Kriss Vector is the Integral A in S2HOC. The Saiga in Yantar can be shot off the vehicle

I love this game, but Im having bad time whit expensive repair costs, its insane. When I find a weapon I like if i use it too much then its so expensive for repair. The loot its another disapoint in here, you cant carry too much and cant carry things to sell for at least repair your weapons. Thats are my big problems whit this game 😢

@@Astrosive Repair cost to what it can do doesn't justify it. Afer SIRCAA it was completely broken both physically and koupon wise at least on my playthrough, AP ammo wears it even faster it has 600 shoots on standard so... For newcomer I would say that it's way wiser to get GP37 which can be obtained very early, repair it, mod it and use standard ammo because for some reason in this game for GP37 AP ammo doesn't stack(same DMG/penetration) and it doesn't degrade faster and you have 3rd burst which weirdly is more accurate tham single shot spamming AR and GP37 up to 2/3rds of the game is sooo diiiiiirt cheap to reapair in relation to what fully modded one can do. Also between kharod and dnipro there was debate beceause dnipro can be convereted to 7.62 but recoil and feeling charasteristics wise it's way worse than kharod which can be converted for AK ammo and if you're hoarding then you have thousands of rounds for AK in the stash. Weapons are very weirdly balanced here. AK has 20% penetration but 5.45 kharod still does sixty, short barrel saiga and SPSA has more penetration and DMG than long AF double barrel TOZ. Like... For someone who made balance for the weapons - "Shaggy this isn't weed". I know that it's meant for "progression" but even in trilogy AK wasn't this far away from other weapons. In trilogy shotguns were trash I always avoided them, this time I use them most of the time. Fascinating...

I was typing this comment right when you said you can't really use the Saiga unique. They give you too many of the S tier items in the last hour or two. I completely agree that the game was supposed to, or will have ng+. There's one specific item I won't name that pretty much 100% convinced me of that.

I can't wait for Grok to fix and balance this thing. It's just fucking silly the shoehorning that goes on. The smg being better than rifles is just stupid entirely. It doesn't make any sense in any universe anywhere. Who made that decision. I use Shah's Mate bc nothing has higher damage. Shotguns basically have rock salt shells.

Most of the door´s are closed so u have to have some Side Quests before or main Quests . Would be cool if u say it in the beginning of the part .... running miles into closed doors cause in ur video they are just open is extremly dissapointing ...

Can i just say... Im sticking with this game because i paid money for it but... The combat is like 4/10 Story 3/10 barely following it Graphics 2/10 fucking terrible optimisation on a great pc rig Immersion 3/10 i cant tell who is who in the zone Game breaking bugs everywhere, graphics from 2011, TERRIBLE voice acting in english... Yes, the game is made in a warzone, im very pro ukraine ... But that doesnt mske this a good game. This is extremely average.
