This was an unexpected video; learning the only bobsled coaster I've ridden is the most intense "bobsled" coaster: Avalanche at Blackpool. Thanks for posting!

I love these rides, so sad to see many gone, hope Intamin or MACK builds a new one, one day

I just searched this thinking no one would make a video about bobsleigh coasters 😂😂😂

Alpine Bobsled's closure was inevitable, but La Vibora too and so soon after was disappointing. It had an open setting, mostly free of whatever gets in the trough, and was a popular family coaster. They could've kept it running a little longer with Alpine Bobsled's trains, but nope. Let's hope another Mack bobsled is built someday.

Aw man did you never get a ride on Disaster Transport? Was cramped and bizarre but extremely fun

Only ridden Disaster Transport and that was like it's last or second to last year. But I loved that thing.

The first time, i've rode Bobbahn @ Heidepark, i pressed my legs for some reason against the restraints, because they are not that tight. At the uphill section, the middle folded a bit together. There are hinges inbetween seperating the front and back of each car and that kinda hurts when they folded upwards, pressing my legs against the restraint. Now I always have my legs angled a bit to each side.

Flying Turns when loaded is just near capsizing levels of sway. Can easily nab #1 in the future.

Number 0: Disaster Transport! A bobsled so mild that I didn't even know it was a bobsled coaster when I first rode it, as it was very dark. Only Intamin one I ever did, but it didn't make much of an impression.

Shame-the Mack ones are intense, agree with Canobie about Avalanche at Bpb. If you can visit england give it a shot to see how intense they can be

I can’t lie, if I was a park, I would definitely try and buy one, because I think they are great, unique, family coasters, that are enjoyed both by the GP and Enthusiasts. Sadly, I doubt any reasonable manufacturer would produce one today. Even though mack offers them, I doubt they actually would given how long it has been since their last coaster, and its individual track style not found on any other mack coaster.

I assume they'd still do it since it's on the website.

Flying Turns at #3 is shocking. I’ve been riding it since I was a kid, and I just don’t believe that any of the other bobsleds have the smoothness or maverick-esque transitions that Flying Turns does. La Vibora was straight up trash and the Mack ones are just slowwww

👍Hopefully you'll get to Ride Flying Turns with your wife to get a better experience on that classic remake. Much better when the trains are heavier. Sorry I got in your way @ 2:41 😅

I from the region in the Netherlands where the Efteling is located i find it surprising that the Bob is not higher because is also the same seat setup as alpine bobsled and they have even remodeld the brake system to make it smoother so it only can be higher and the theming is even better but i dont have ridden they other ones so i dont have a good opinion of the rest

Nice. A related list might be non-waterpark water rides. I can think of two: One was at Six Flags Over Georgia in the 90’s. The second is Dollywood’s Slidewinder which I think was one of the greatest rides to ever exist. It kind of had the Bobsled Coaster feel of total lack of control-but was even more unhinged.

While I understand completely why they removed the bobsled from the great escape it made the visit worth it for me. We got to ride twice in our visits over the years. Always loved riding in the USA car and the park did right by honoring it and leaving a car/entrance out.

I was one of the few who liked Alpine Bobsled when it was Rolling Thunder at Great America.

Screamin' Delta Demon at Opryland was my favorite Bobsled. Probably the best ride in the park. Buried in the woods. Night rides were crazy. One of very few coasters from my childhood i vividly remember. Also loved Disaster Transport at cedar point. I rode repilian when it was calles avalanche.thought it was better as avalanche, but maybe some trees will grow around it with the reptilian theme over time. La Vibora, always fun ride.

I think one way to maybe update the bobsled model, especially the Mack version is to do what Cedar Point did for Disaster Transport - make it an enclosed tube but make it capable to have audio/visual effects above the riders.

I see these Bobsled coasters as very intriguing, I even built one in Roblox Theme Park Tycoon 2 and has so much fun designing the layout, too bad this model is a dying breed.

Great video my friend I really hope I get to ride one of these one day. I've done what's called an Alpine slide which is basically a smaller version LOL
