The issue is, that's not how it was presented. There were three option, one killed Michael, one killed Trevor, and the other simply said "Deathwish". Since it was Franklin who had to make the decision, one would assume that "Deathwish" meant "Franklin dies." A lot of people (myself included) liked Franklin and didn't want him to die, so our only choice was to pick either Michael or Trevor. Had it been made clear that "Deathwish" meant "kill all of the bad guys and none of the three protagonists die" right from the beginning, I don't think anyone would have even considered picking the other two options. Long story short, thank beesus I had an auto save right before I made the final decision.

I don't know what's more brutal about Helios' death, the fact that he's feeling constant pain in his lower half due to the injury of getting crushed by a titan, getting his head ripped of while conscious, or being used as a lantern for the rest of the game while still prolly being conscious (dude the guy is still screaming every time you bring him out.)

Ethan Krisanski I suppose what's painful about that scene was that no one should watch their own children die. I can only fathom the pain Joel had gone through. The baby girl he loves just cast her last breath in his arms, years they could have lived happily together vanished in the blink of an eye. It's beyond agonizing, really... And the voice actor's performance was amazing, he should have an Oscar if the game was a movie :P

I have a story. I was running around subways in Fallout 4, and some Raiders cleared out a ghoul nest. I spawned in more Raiders to aid they're encampment, and then, they start dying. Some dropping, some being flung around. It's creepy as fuck. So, I use the killall command, and nuke the area.

OMG Leon's death is so cruel and creepy. Since it's the first death in the game you get the chill of holy balls you just don't expect the brutality. And then the fact that his killing was in self defence makes it so upsetting and chilling. However....I have to admit, I was more amazed at the creativity of this death than shocked by it because it was so obvious and yet so.....well....you get what I mean XD

+Drake Timmons I actually thought Poseidon's death was the most brutal. It wasn't just seeing it; it was the fact that you had to actually use your thumbs to push the analog sticks in the same way Kratos did Poseidon's eyes.

+ShyBoy6ty9 While I still think Helios should get the top spot for brutality, I think Poseidon is a close second. Mostly because you're watching it happen from HIS P.O.V. You're the one giving Kratos the command to kill him, but you're watching it through Poseidon's eyes. I remember cringing when I fought and killed him. But Helios had a slow and very painful death. There's just no way to imagine what it feels like having your head separated from your body, muscle by muscle and bone by bone.

I was totally expecting Until Dawn to be somewhere on this list. You could give pretty much any of the deaths, but Jessica's potential death late in the game is probably the worst.

I saw it as ironic since in the comics, Dvorah had a brief origin when she served mileena, mileena asked Dvorah to kiss her foot to show loyalty but instead mileena kicked her in the mouth as she was going to do it so yeh, jokes on you mileena.
