I think even bad Bardocks are scarier than say, a bad 16 or Adult Gohan. It's because he seems to convert off of attacks that look like they're going to whiff and have the opponent bounce out. An Adult Gohan player who doesn't know the leg loops or the some of the crazier block strings (so me) just has a character with goods fundamentals, a Bardock doesn't have the craziness that 16, Cell, and Adult Gohan have, but instead he has the basics of a DBFZ character turned up to 11.

Watching a character in tournaments is how I get a feel for how to use them. Although I don't plan on going to tournaments, but I do want to be at a certain level in fighting games. For example, Vega was not seen much in tournaments in Street Fighter IV yet he was my main. Same thing with Alex in Tekken Tag 2. When pro players use characters in tournaments, I view it as more of a suggestion than an objective playthrough of them, but its how I've learned fighting games. I modify what they do and make it my own. That does not mean I put in the time to do my own creativity. For Krillin, I use him mostly as a spacing character, because he has a lot of ki blasts that can sort of trick the opponent, but my problem is getting in close and dealing damage without ki blasts. I simply wish to see more Krillin players in high-end tournaments to learn from them in actual high-level play. So yes I would "like that."

NixUniverse To both comments, I severely doubt Videl will be in any DLC, same with Jiren. But I can see Buuhan coming due to Vegito being released soon. Dabura would be nice, but I don't see him being cut out for this type of game. And Shallot, definitely not. As for Gogeta, most likely it'd be Super Saiyan Gogeta considering they'd have to add Omega Shenron for any dramatic finish at all. And considering Cooler is in all the leaks, I'm sure we'll get him, but I personally think he'll just be the striker version of Frieza.

They usually add them in pairs Bardock & Broly (Movie Pack) Vegito Blue & Merged Zamasu (Fusion Pack) Base Goku & Vegeta (Saiyan Saga Pack) 17 & Cooler (Older Brother Pack) So Ssj4 Gogeta & Omega Shenron would be the GT Pack. I highly doubt if they were to give GT representatives they’d only go with one. So I think Ssj4 & Omega Shenron would be the best way to go. Buuhan should’ve been in the game from scratch IMO, Jiren is meh. Never really cared for him but it would be cool to see what they could do for him, Videl I think would be pretty cool to see how they balance out a human character, & Shallot I can see happening as well. This is a non canon game, so characters like Mira & Towa, Fu, Shallot, etc. could have a slight chance to make it in IMO.

Competitive player don't only choose characters based on their viability. Viability is a major influence , but it's not the only factor when it comes to choosing a character in a game .

I agree, with all of the top ten characters, but I think Hit should be number 10 on this list. I think Hit's mixups are decent by himself, because of his 30 frame low attack. If you stand block, his fast overheads don't matter, and he has a reactable low. He does have a command grab, which makes it a hit/grab 50/50, but it's not that scary, especially since the damage he gets off of a command grab is pretty small due to scaling. Anyways, I loved the video :D

claudio roa maybe not THE best but I strongly believe that she is a Solid Top 5 character. Only problem is her moveset is very situational, meaning the moves she gets from her command grabs. Her Aliens Moveset is her best set in my opinion, & her Android Set is the least effective although she does get a Barrier, so it’s depending on the situation. All in All, she’s good but not THE best but still amazing.

It's not a matter of telling them how to speak, it's just phrasing and sentence building. It sounds like UnderDawg is reading the text from a script. If so, he could work it a little bit more so that the sentences don't sound redundant. It's easily achievable by changing a few words and using a synonym dictionary. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's just a matter of improving a little bit, that's it.

I respect that. My point was his opinion is obviously an inexperienced/not knowledgeable player's opinion. You can tell when he says goku black is a ''mixup monster, even by himself'', I mean seriously? lol, and not only that but putting him above the likes of Kid Buu, Bardock and Android 21. Then having characters like Hit and Android 18 there, while not even mentioning SSJ Goku. These were stuff literally said back in the first month of the game's release when the game was super unexplored lol. Ok what i don’t understand is you say that you won’t include Vegeta because people only use his assist but in almost the past couple tournaments people have clutched games with him. His Normals while they are short he has some of the one of the best supers to use in the game to combo into. His combos do good damage and he’s damn near impossible to stop once he has momentum. You already know Go1 as an example is one of those who can clutch with damn near anybody bit his Vegeta when he was against Sonicfox was so good that it’s hard to say that you can only find value in his assist. My only reason for commenting this is you say you won’t include him because of his assist but from the first character you introduce that being Trunks you say in your second sentence “He has a pretty good assist” in a list where you only are using them solo.

Personally I think Cell should be above Gohan, but only just. So if Gohan was a 9.8 Cell is a 10. I base this on a few reasons, firstly being that Cell is typically easier to pick up and play and master. Most competent players can learn Cells combos pretty quickly and be doing his corner loop combo aswell. Gohan, as was stated, requires more time to learn and figure out, not just from the opponents side of things but the player too. Cells ranged command grab and aerial kamehameha are super good tools for controlling space. His perfect attack acts as a DP and is very easy to convert off of with assists, super or vanish wheres Gohans has a shorter window for action. It's been stated before but a lot of people acknowledge the fact that Gohan suffers more without assists than Cell does. Gohans supers are also relatively weak compared to most characters. In this regard Cells barrier is one of the highest damaging level 1s in the game and has a large hitbox making it very easy to chain into or out of. The last real reason is the fact Gohan is a ramp up character and needs levels to make him truly overpowered. Cell starts out godlike from the very start without needing to invest meter , which means he can spend that meter on combo extensions or supers without concern. Overall they're both more or less the same type of beast, I just think Cell is slightly ahead due to some extra tools he has that Gohan doesn't plus his relative ease to pick up and use. The same can be said for why Black and 16 are both so good. If they were really hard characters to play with people wouldn't be as bothered, but its the fact they're easy and most people can drop huge 50%+ combos on you with little effort that bothers them. Gohan is an example of a character that requires more investment to learn and get good with. I also think it was a slight mistake to exclude a characters team viability when listing them off as that is the whole point of the game. Cells assist and playstyle means he fits snug in virtually every single team, like Vegeta does. People who use AGohan usually have to build a team and play style to cater specifically to him as a main character, similar to A21, if you really want to get great results. I personally see Teen Gohan becoming a bigger threat as time goes on and more people learn how dangerous he really is. But this is just my opinion so try not to get mad at them or anything.

Disagree with trunks nit being a master of anything trunks rushdown is extremely good and he can basically steal people's turns offensively if you mix up between change the future and his dash canceling. Not to mentions Trunks' flip is really good for offensive purposes if you have someone locked down or just to bait things. Also with hit countering haphazardly vs good people gets you punished like it is a solid option, but you aren't just gonna snatch turns with it without prime conditioning. Android 18 is mid to low tier on most people's tier list. Interesting that you find her better than hit and trunks.

Now that I achieved ssj3 level (my team is composed by Bardock, GBlack and SSJ Vegeta) , I'm waiting for the incoming patch to play some other characters, like Vegeta Blue, Yamcha or Krillin. Also, we need balances, I want to play again as Goku SSJ but its useless against top tiers. Love your videos, but I would put kid buu in the top 4.

Tien would be top tier if his supers didn't consume his health. As for Gotenks. While he can be pretty great. I think he lacks a lot to really make him one of "the best".

mee091000 If lvl 1 Kikoho didnt use his health, I think he would be there no doubt. However, he is a really well balanced character, I dont think we should worry about changing him. But with the new 16 nerfs, he actually might make it

I mean, making a list of characters that are top tier by tournament standards while not being a tournament player yourself doesn't really make sense.. rather go to actual tournament players like GO1, Echo fox team, or Chris G etc an legit list from worldwide tourney players would be more credible. Nonetheless, Gohan and Boo are the cheapest/broken characters in the game. I don't see why people say Cell, must be the loop, but he's just really good. Nothing too strong on him. And with android 16 I think it's his hard knockdown command grab not costing a meter at the end of combos that people don't like. His armor is a problem though. I don't think it should be in a game like this but it's really easy to see and bait out so there's that at least.

lol Hit only got figured out more and more since the game came out. He's not a bad character, but doesn't hold a candle to 16, A Gohan, Cell, Black, Bardock, 21, etc. He's mid-tier at best. Really there's no reason to down back against Hit.

You are spreading misinformation about 21. 21 has excellent pressure and she definitely does have solid empty jump options my friend Dekline plays her a lot and hands down blocking his 21 is one of the harder things to do in the game. especial when she has here assist up or she has absorbed a skill. She can pressure you from close to mid screen and she can convert off her 2m very effectively with meter. Yesh android 21 doesn't get a hard kd off standard j.h stuff but her dive move makes for really easy timing for assist extesions. Goku black at #3? Goku black above 16 amd above hit? Above gotenks!? Above Bardock!? What is this madness? Goku black is really straight forward goku black is one of the characters you don't want to have solo because all his solo mix ups are seeable and reactable .
