There is a cheapy by Revlon 100 concentrate Ciara. When, I wanna feel like a NYC street girl in fur in 1982. I go for that scent. You can grab it for under 20. Fabu stuff lol.

White Shoulders is always there for me. The most feminine white floral, can get a giant 4 oz bottle, plus a perfume mini,(the perfume is even better than the cologne) and a lotion. All for 30-40$

It’s funny I’m on fragrantica all the time ha and never looked up this classic!! It reminds me of a lady like powder! Do you remember when oil of Olay was in a glass bottle and it was pink? It reminds me of that too!! I was constantly in my grannies stuff! Ha I know where I got my love of all this from!! I favored my grannies style ( she loved Chanel and Shalimar and tabu youth dew etc) and my mom loved really heavy hitters like Halston and obsession and then Liz Claiborne triangle ha…I favored my grannies stuff!

I’m almost embarrassed to reveal to you my favorite cheapie… Stetson for men. I’ve loved it since the 80’s. Though today’s formulation is not quite the same. My polar opposite favorites are CHANEL Pour Monsieur EDP and YSL L’Homme EDT.

Red was my signature sent for many years and I never have so many complaints from other perfum, for some reason is turnin so iris in my skin I only buy the old formulas. I buy for my husband Cronw from Thameen and Cruel Intentions from Kilian both remanded Red in some poin most in the opening

I used to work behind the counter in cosmetics and fragrances in the late 80's and 90's. I know almost all of those fragrances extremely well and I agree with you on almost every one! You left out one of the best ones though, Je Reviens by Worth! When I was working behind the counter long ago it was not a cheapie! Nowadays you can get it very reasonably though. Also, I launched LIz Taylors Passion, Lou Lou, Giorgio, Giorgio Red and so many others that are now iconic! I love the original Liz Claiborne but the newer one seems to me to be a bit more powdery in the dry down. Less green. I loved the original Liz Claiborne, but the new one is not really the same. Still, gorgeous and glad to see that you like so many of these wonderful old perfumes I consider friends of my youth! Cheers SuperDakob! Love your stuff!

Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Royale is my favorite cheapie. It’s incredible and complex and deep and sexy and it smells so much more expensive than it is. It doesn’t seem to have much of anything to do with the OG 5th Avenue, though I like that one too. Green Tea is another Elizabeth Arden cheapie that I love and I’ve been wearing it quite a lot this summer. The Nemat Vanilla Musk and Musk Amber oils are staples in my collection. They’re great on their own and layered with other frags. I need to try Nemat’s Egyptian Musk oil, but I have and love Kuumba Made’s Egyptian Musk. I find Oscar de la Renta Esprit d’Oscar to be a beautiful and sophisticated powdery fragrance that is reminiscent of L’Heure Bleue. It’s discontinued, but I was able to get two bottles for $14 each of Mauboussin Histoire d’Eau on fragrancenet last year. The bottle looks like something Jane or Judy Jetson would have on their dressers and the juice is a rather dry, spiced leathery amber fragrance. I also love LouLou and Le Bain 🥰. Idk why I still haven’t tried Giorgio Beverly Hills, but I need to pick up a bottle.

I love all of your videos. I'm doing a rewatch on a lot of them. A funny story here( and cute), my 4 year old nephew LOVES this video. He wants to watch it all the time. He calls you " David ". My sister ( his mother) asked me who David was, because he wanted to watch " David ". She's happy too now because she puts it on the you tube channel in the living room and says he'll stay occupied and quiet watching it. He knows what you're going to say before you say it. I miss some of these old scents , growing up. Vermont Co store has a few of them still. I still like the spicy , smoky scents the best and also like 4711, white musk, Egyptian musk, tabu,the old sweet honesty that my mom wore as a girl. I remember waiting for the Avon lady to come to the house as a girl and my sister and I fighting over who got to read the catalog first. I wish they never reformulated some or discontinue others like Nu and Black Cashmere.

I adore Cabotine!!!!!!! Excellent performance. And Agent Provocateur is another beautiful performer and it does remind me, when it dries down the Paloma Picasso which is brilliant too. Liz Claiborne is very difficult to find in Europe. Gloria Vanderbilt original… still has it for me. Oh, and the wonderful Red Door. Amerige is also super, super. Oh, the Moschino….. ❤️.

Dear PASSION by Elizabeth Taylor was the parfum to have in 1987! Unfortunately they changed the formula! The cheapest original PARFUM from 1987 on eBay goes for $199.00,but by now,2023 of course the smell changed! I was very lucky and got a bottle that smells just like 1987! I love PASSION!!❤️ YOU are a darling!❤️

After watching your review on Giorgio by Giorgio Beverly Hills, I have ordered a little 1oz bottle to get free shipping on a bottle of Britney Spears fantasy and I’ll come back here to share my thoughts! Im really excited to try such a classic! Also I do have an unrelated perfume question. What are your thoughts on No.5 Eau Première? I noticed it’s the 1 version of No.5 that doesn’t have it’s own video! I got a bottle and absolutely adore it. I didn’t think it was similar to No.5 that much but I was comparing it to the edp! When I looked at it as a flanker of the pure parfum, that’s when it clicked and it was just love after that

@@essence-tiallydacob9611 my bottle came today and I gave my wrist a couple sprays an hour ago. Unfortunately my bottle was made in Spain so I know this is not it’s best self but I’m not hating it! I’ve definitely smelled this before but I’m not sure where. Its packed with florals and a bit of wood, after it settled, it’s very soapy and like expensive shampoo! It smells very happy and bright! Also much softer than I was expecting, it’s not as sharp as I thought it’d be! I think I like it c: I’m happy I got to try Giorgio! I never would have known about its existence without you so ty! I can see myself wearing it and I’ll have to find a made in the US bottle sometime! Also idk if you like Britney Spears fantasy but it’s such a fun sweet light hearted ‘cute’ scent. And I’m surprised Eau Première doesn’t sit well with you! I really don’t like Leau x.x Edit: after spending the day with it. I like it! It smells like a happy sunny day by the pool and just enjoying life which sounds quite Californian so I definitely get the vision! I’ll have to find a bottle not made in Spain.

I need to try that one. Try the current formulation of Dolce & Gabbana pour femme in the red cap. Its rare to find these days but can be found for an almost cheapie price from time to time. Its a lily of the valley and aldehyde bomb. 💖
