I like that it's original music but still feels very "Star Wars"-y, sometimes paying homage to the original score in subtle ways. I think it's a genius way to handle the music of this show.

Werner Herzog did a fantastic job as the sinister 'Client", a former high ranking Imperial officer. Watching him get all bubbly over "the Child" (aka, "Baby Yoda") is a hilarious departure from that role. Sometimes I think fans can get overzealous to the point of over-dorkiness. Case in point - The 501st. But, when I found out that these guys (and gals) not only got to act in that scene, but found out they were when they arrived on set, I was thrilled for them. I hope Jon Favreau can use them again. Carl Weathers, the penultimate tough guy, nearly got teary eyed when Gina Carano praised him for his acting in Disney+'s behind the scenes docu-series. Star Wars has an unmistakable score. Even "Rogue One's" score sounded like a John Williams piece. "The Mandalorian's" score is fantastic and is a new iconic brand of Star Wars music. While Williams' music has a "fantasy" feel to it (which is fitting given its knights, princesses, wizards, etc), Gorensen's score has the very definite gritty Western gunslinger feel. I actually think the series would have done WORSE with John Williams scoring it, as great as a composer as he is. The Volume is fantastic technology. It could very easily replace green screen. John Wayne's grandson is one of the Mandalorian stand-ins. How great is that?

On of my fondest memories of being a puppeteer, in the 70's, was coming out from behind the stage after a show, with one of the puppets, and interacting with the children, "in character." Obviously the puppet, on my knee, would be under my control, and I was no ventriloquist, but the kids wouldn't talk with the puppet as if it were alive, and I wasn't there, and it was wonderful! As always thank you so very much for your video.

In 1993 the BBC tried something similar for a Dr Who charity TV special. They asked fans to take part in monster and alien costumes from across the show's previous 30 years for a big crowd scene. According to one of the production team, it turned into a complete nightmare as the fans were arguing with the director about every tiny aspect of their performances, when all they were required to do was walk around a set.

My favourite moment(s) in the behind-the-scenes series is whenever Dave Filoni talks, just watch Jon Favreau. He looks at Dave with sparkles in his eyes, like he's just truly fascinated with everything he has to say. There are even moments when he knows Dave has something to add but isn't speaking up, Jon will interrupt the conversation and put his hand on Dave's shoulder and ask him, like a shy child, a question that gets him involved in the conversation. Jon is clearly a Filoni fanboy and I love it so, so much. You can see it in his body language, hear it in his voice, and see it in his eyes. But also notice that whenever Kathleen Kennedy talks, you actively see Jon move away from her, sometimes with his arms folded, and be like "Yeah, whatever" and move the conversation along. There's definitely some bad blood there between them. You can see it

My dream is to hopefully be involved in any major project relating to Star Wars one day, or acting/voice acting. So far, Star Wars Night at Sahlen Field has been THE closest I have ever gotten to acting/voice acting, reading my own lines for the very first time, saying said lines while I'm being filmed for multiple scenes (or Episodes), and saying my final line out on the field during the live show part of the event. I am in Episodes III, and VI.
