As we wait patiently for Galactus VS Unicron to end us all in the Season 10 finale, I say it's time to look even further ahead. Aside from the winner of the Tournament of Champions, we currently know nothing about what's to come next year....how exciting! One idea that I wanna see is Bobobo vs Uncle Grandpa. I genuinely think it’d be an amazing matchup. Two insanely weird, ridiculous, and powerful characters with a group of equally weird and ridiculous friends. Also, i feel like it’d be an evolution of Bill Cipher vs Discord in terms of how crazy the fight itself would be.

I've seen a few hints towards Columbo being in a Death Battle. His name was on an arcade machine in Doc vs. Rick, and he appeared in the door joke with Courage. There could have been more that I missed. I still kinda wanna see The Brain Vs. Stewie Griffon.

Hints towards Light VS Columbo have been all over Season 10, but they revealed in the Goku VS Superman post-show that all of it was to prank people into thinking it would be the season finale. Still hoping for it next season, but all the hints don't actually mean anything anymore

@@LittleZbot It was a nice tease and I would be curious about Columbo cause all I know is him investigating the villain and always saying "one more thing", but never fighting at all from the old shows back in the day. Just telling them how they screwed up.

@shawnaustin1037 I actually watched almost every Columbo film long before this matchup ever got suggested. Personal interests from a young age. Columbo himself has no real physical abilities beyond an average human, but this matchup would be pitting them in a detective battle rather than a fistfight. It's not so much that Columbo has extraordinary feats of insane deduction as it is that he's basically Light's perfect foil. Every single Columbo film is told from the perspective of the murderer, them being the main character, and watching them slowly unravel as a simple-looking police detective edges ever closer to figuring out what they did and how to prove it. Columbo himself ranges from a secondary main character to just a guy with a few lines who catches the killer because of something that they are going through, nothing to do with him. He's more a representation of the inevitability of justice more than he is a fully-fleshed out character. His entire shtick is that he looks completely unassuming, with a rumpled coat, long stories about his wife and kids, and he's always wowed by new technology or unique skills. He plays up his own ineptitude right until he corners the killer and he lays out the basic flaws in what they did and why they didn't get away with it. The matchup is great (in my opinion) not because of connections or how close it is or anything like that. It's great because Light Yagami would fit in perfectly as the main character of a Columbo film, and Columbo would have been a fantastic alternative to L in Death Note. They are each other’s exact mortal enemies, but one never to encounter the other. Honestly, a crossover novel would be the best thing for these two, but a Death Battle's pretty good, too.

@@LittleZbot Yeah I've seen quite a few Columbo episodes, so I would just be curious how they would do a DB since Columbo has no fight abilities like in a DB that we are used to. Heck Columbo never even carries a gun, lol.

@shawnaustin1037 They'd probably have to do special rules (like Gojo VS Makima, but far more extensive). Death Battle has always been about serving fans the character and style of fight they're expecting, and bending the rules around that. Sometimes, it's giving Shadow all seven Chaos Emeralds. Sometimes, it's allowing Chakra and Raiti to interact so a fight can happen in the first place. This would just have to be the most extreme example of it.

Cool video and once again you introduced me to some new match-ups, I particularly liked Boros vs Thokk originally I was thinking Thokk vs Rengar from League of Legends but I had a feeling that would be a curb stomp Boros works better as an opponent for Thokk, one of the reasons I like the match-up is I want a fight between the One-Punch Man series and the Invincible series.

I think that Kirby vs Rimuru has a good chance to happen next season. Kirby is long overdue for a re-analyzing, esoecially with games like Star Allies and Forgotten Land having come out since he last appeared, and Season 3 of Reincarnated as a Slime is coming out in April next year.

Even though my match up Gorr the God Butcher (Marvel) vs Merged Zamasu (DBS) didn't make it to the tournament of champions hoping it will still be considered for a potential Season 11 MU it's a decent match up and a lot of people seemed to like it.

I’ve said many times before that my number 1 most wanted fight is Hiccup and Toothless VS Hiro and Baymax, so I don’t really need to go on and on about it, but one matchup I really want to bring into the light is Storm Hawks VS Battle Force 5 (Spinmaster VS Hot Wheels) They were both Cartoon Network shows that got cancelled before their final conclusions, and were incredibly enjoyable to watch, they’re both teams of heroes saving the world/multiverse with weaponised vehicles, the Storm Hawks mostly ride bikes but they also have a dune buggy and an airship, and the Battle Force 5 mostly drive cars but they also have a bike and a mobile battle station/garage vehicle, both teams consist of 6 members (Storm Hawks: Aerrow, Finn, Junko, Piper, Stork and Radarr / Battle Force 5: Vert, Zoom, Agura, Sherman, Spinner and Stanford), 2 members of each team ride in the same vehicle together while the rest have their own vehicles to themselves, and each individual member has their own similarities with the other team Aerrow & Vert Both red clad, daredevil stunt driving/riding leaders of their teams, they both got their first real missions from a stranger they had only just met while they were under attack, and their fathers were lost without a trace and fought the main villains long before they got their shot at them Piper & Agura Both are the only female members of their respective teams who also happen to both be black skinned, and are second in command to lead the team when the primary leader is unavailable Junko & Sherman Both serve as the muscle of their respective teams as they possess incredible physical strength, and also possess an above average intelligence for their kind (Sherman is the most intelligent member of the Battle Force 5, and serves as both Brains and Brawn, while Junko is just much smarter than other Wallops, he’s still quite dumb compared to humans) Finn & Stanford Both are wannabe ladies men with slick hair, a stereotypical personality, serve as the sharpshooters and as comic relief, have a passion for music, and in one location in their world/multiverse they were both treated as gods/deities with prophecies, statues and tapestries built after them/their ancestors Stork & Zoom Both stand out for their choice of vehicles (Stork drives a buggy in a team of bike riders, and Zoom rides a bike in a team of car drivers, also Stork primarily flies their main airship), and once were stranded in a desolate zone and had to fend for themselves with no resources while surrounded by enemies Radarr & Spinner Both are the smallest and physically weakest members of their teams, and both of them don’t have a vehicle of their own, instead they ride with one of the other members, and operate the vehicles weapons and gimmicks (Radarr rides in Aerrow’s side car, and Spinner sits in the back of his tank while his brother Sherman drives) Both teams have 5 regular sized vehicles and 1 big mobile battle station vehicle, Aerrow, Finn and Junko each ride their Air-Skimmers (motorbikes that turn into gliders) while Radarr rides with Aerrow, Piper rides her heli-scooter (yes, it is a scooter, and it is also a helicopter) and Stork flies the Condor (the Storm Hawks primary Airship) but does occasionally drive in the Stork Mobile when needed (a dune buggy with a helicopter mode), while Vert drives the Saber (a sleek, sharp sports car with bladed weapons), Zoom rides the Chopper (a motorbike with a hover mode (what is with all these flying bikes?)), Agura drives the Tangler (an ATV with articulated hydraulics), Sherman and Spinner drive the Buster (a tank with heavy mace weapons) and Stanford drives the Reverb (a radio car with sonic weapons), and all of the BF5 can operate the Mobius Command Centre (the Mobi for short, it’s basically a military base, mixed with a garage, mixed with a car) This is my second most wanted Death Battle matchup and I really want to see it come to life, but it’s unlikely due to the fact that not many people have heard of either show, or they have but have forgotten about it

Tho, as a anime fan, something that i feel is pretty likely: Homura Akemi from Madoka Magica vs Kurumi Tokisaki from Date a Live Why do i think it's probable? Madoka Magica's new movie will be out next year AND a new season of Date a Live too! Is even about Kurumi! Here are some battles I think could happen next season. * Light vs Columbo isn't just possible, it's practically inevitable given how many times it's been referenced in episodes like Scooby-Doo vs Courage and Rick vs The Doctor. * I also think a Persona episode, most likely Adachi vs Kira or Joker vs Giorno, is also very possible given that Persona 3 Reload is coming soon. * A series I think should make a return is Scott Pilgrim, thanks mostly to the recent Takes Off anime. Though I don't know much about Konosuba to figure out how Kazuma would be a good opponent for Scott, so I'm going with Naota from FLCL, another series I think would make a great Death Battle episode. * If I had to pick a Shonen Jump series to be featured in Season 11 other than Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, My Hero Academia, or Jojo, it would have to be Yu Yu Hakusho because of the upcoming Netflix movie. * Power Rangers should also make a comeback given that we just celebrated the franchise's 30th anniversary with Once and Always and Cosmic Fury. Plus, it would be a good way to honor the memory of Jason David Frank. * Another series I think deserves another shot is Gargoyles. After Goliath, the next two characters I think are the most likely to enter Death Battle are David Xanatos or Demona. Xanatos would make a great opponent for Norman Osborn, especially if they start out matching wits before Xanatos breaks out the exo-armor to combat the Green Goblin or the Iron Patriot. * And finally, Luz vs Anne deserves a shot because I was so disappointed that it didn't make past Week 1 of the Tournament of Champions.

The 10 Matchups I want for next year Perry vs Skipper (Phineas and Ferb vs penguins of Madagascar) I mean I'm surprised they didn't do this in season 10 Gru vs Megamind Finn & Jake vs Mordecai and Rigby (adventure time vs regular show) Another fight I eanted for season 10 Taskmaster vs Deathstroke (Marvel vs DC) This could be a fight next season with 2 grounded characters which is something people want to see. I personally want this fight bcoz taskmaster is a badass but I like Deathstroke more and want to see him again... it's been so *damn* long Gwen Tennyson vs atom eve (Ben 10 vs invincible) I like both these characters but Gwen Tennyson is who I like more and I also really want her on death battle. Also, I thought if she would fight Raven let just fight eve for the time being Captain America vs Kamen rider (Marvel vs Kamen rider Ichigo) As for this one the matchup seems interesting and I thought Captain America would fight solid snake or Chris redfield but this one just grabs my attention more Huntsgirl vs karai (American dragon vs TMNT) Mainly bcoz we've had jake long so why not have another American dragon episode and we've had leonardo thrice (3 times) on the show so lets have another TMNT character for me it should be karai up next Chun li vs tifa lockhart (street fighter vs final fantasy) As for this one chun li last appeared in season 1 and I think it would be nice to see her come back. Here's a few predictions for Season 11. 1 (my main prediction): Lloyd vs Takanuva (Ninjago vs Bionicle) With the crew expressing interest in bringing LEGO onto the show (with Steve vs Emmet and Mikey vs Jay), it's only a matter of time until this is considered, or happens outright. It could honestly be a pretty interesting episode, too! It brings in two new franchises to the show, has great fight potential and, from what I've seen, could go either way depending on what the crew buys for them. 2: Hulk vs Godzilla (Marvel vs Toho) With Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire releasing the same year as Season 11, the circumstances just seem too perfect, don't they? While we COULD wait longer for Hulk to return... cmon, it'd be awesome to see this David vs Goliath fight truly in action. Plus, World-Breaker Hulk can grow to a size of 300 Meters, so the size difference equals out. While I do think Godzilla wins, Hulk does have his fair share of arguments. 3: V1 vs Neon White (ULTRAKILL vs Neon White) With the release of Violence, with Fraud likely soon to follow, ULTRAKILL is really in the public eye now. Who better to pit V1 against than another character from a fast-paced, meme-filled shooter, Neon White? The analyses (especially V1's) could be very interesting, going in depth with their arsenal and abilities. The fight could be awesome, too, lots of Melee and Ranged combat to boot. For who wins, I think it's generally agreed apon that V1 should take it. Those are my main 3 predictions for Season 11. But, I'm still hyped for what it has to bring!

After Mario Wonder, I am really attached to Luffy vs Mario. They are both Japanese cartoonish characters who have a lot of fun doing what they do. The animation potential for this matchup is insane and holds a tun of potential for imagination and creativity.

While I’d be hyped to see Ash vs Yugi next season, my safest bet is probably gonna have to be a Blue Beetle match up to commemorate the movie from earlier this year, which most likely will be against Starforce Megaman, but part of me doesn’t want it so I don’t feel like they fed my favorite character ever to a DC herald to say they had him on the show

I think my biggest prediction for next season is bendy vs cuphead because of how big of a push sans vs judge got for the Toc it’s likely that death battle could give us another indie game matchup next season.

Depending on the situation, I've got one match-up that might work. For the Halloween Special, why not have Gengar and King Boo duke it out against each other? Not only is it a reference to Smash Coliseum, but they're both phantoms who can use illusions to bewilder and frighten their prey.

I feel like an idea that could happen in the future is Yor Forger vs Nicole Watterson. Spy X Family is pretty popular, and the Amazing World of Gumball movie is still looking like it could appear despite ol Zaslav's actions. I feel like a lot of comedy and genuine awesome could be gotten out of the idea. Plankton vs The Mind is one I really like, as well as Perry vs Skipper. Especially the latter, since the toon-force bitchers will be happy to know those two are relatively grounded in their absurdity.

I'm expecting a Red vs Blue episode next season. It's one of RT's most popular and long running shows, and its final season drops next year too. As for what the matchup is, there's a decent amount of contenders; -Sarge vs Soldier: It's arguably the most popular RvB matchup. Plus it could work as Episode 200, by connecting it to Macho Man vs Kool-Aid Man (as meh as the episode was) where Sarge was confirmed to be Boomstick's dad. The only thing working against it is that it might not be in the best taste after the passing of Rick May. -Church vs Tari: Another popular RvB fight. It brings a new franchise to Death Battle (Meta Runner), and as I mentioned earlier the final season is airing next year, and it's obvious from the trailer that Church is going to be the main character. And the team behind Meta Runner (Glitch Productions) has been getting lots of attention recently thanks to Murder Drones and Digital Circus. -Tucker vs Jaune Arc: Combines two of RT's most popular shows. Don't have much to say about Jaune since I don't watch RWBY but Tucker's character arc throughout RvB is one of the best aspects of the show. -Agent Washington vs Captain Rex: Brings on one of the last main characters from RvB, and gives us another non Force-User after Boba Fett. Also personal bias because it's my favourite MU for both franchises. -Carolina vs Pyrrha: Could make for a great fight for both long range and close quarters. Also Carolina is a great character and we haven't had Overwatch on the show for a while. -Grif vs Scorch: I know it's another RvB/Star Wars match, but Grif was done kinda dirty in Reds vs Blues and Scorch brings on a new non Force-User, plus it could have some pretty cool banter potential. -Locus vs Crosshair: Yet another SW/RvB, but it introduces Bad Batch, and could have some amazing character moments for both. -Reds and Blues vs Teufort Mercs: This is THE RvB match. It's got all the potential of Sarge vs Soldier cranked up to 100. But it'd be a nightmare to coodinate so many VAs.

A, potential, death battle I've recently thought about is Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas) Vs. Sam (Trick r Treat). I think there's potential there for a future Halloween episode. Pretty sure Jack stomps though.

I have 2 main predictions that weren't talked about. The one I'm more uncertain about is Ash vs Yugi. It's a highly requested legacy fight with two franchises that have a huge rivalry, and now that Ash's story is done (Unless they do some weird stuff in the anime) I think now is a perfect time to do it. It'd introduce Yu-Gi-Oh onto the show and allow Pokemon to get a new episode, since the last one was in season 7. I'm pretty sure the crew has also expressed interest in it as well. But I'm more iffy on it because it'd work best as the 200th episode or finale, and I feel that they'd have other episodes they'd want to do for them. A lot of this is also my cope as it's my second most wanted. The one I'm more confident in is a Genshin episode. It's a super popular game, Genshin wasn't on the tournament of champions, I know DJ really likes it and there's been Genshin references in multiple episodes. My guesses for the matchups would be Xiao vs Illidan or Raiden Shogun vs Raiden (Mortal Combat) as those seem to be some of the more highly requested Genshin episodes. My guess between those two would be Xiao vs Illidan, because it's one of the only champion ballot matchups not to get a cast yet, meaning they may want to do it soon, the last Warcraft episode did very well, and Xiao is far less likely to get new big powerscaling then Raiden Shogun, even though I'm pretty sure Raiden Shogun still wins now. I think they'll save Traveler till Genshin is done, I pray they put them against Byleth. There is some cope here as both are some of my most wanted, but I feel there's more certainty behind these than Ash vs Yugi. Those are just my thoughts, what do you guys think about these matchups likelihoods?

I'm waiting for the day we get a Plants vs. Zombies episode. Super Brainz vs. Super Monkey is my most wanted episode, and Pirahna Plant vs. Chomper is in my Top 10. Both could be so wacky and fun, I also grew up on PvZ, with the occasional Mario and Bloons. There is so much I would want from either of these matchups. Spacegodzilla vs Ultraman Belial is also a very cool matchup. I would love to learn more about Ultraman, and the animation could be unique. Sackboy vs Maxwell would have been fucking peak as it literally has infinite creative potential and virtually limitless spectacle. Whether they keep the destruction more grounded or cosmic, both work wonderfully. They can reference other death battles, do time shenanigans and basically anything....kinda what happens when you have a literal embodiment of creativity fight a creative person with a limitless creation weapon. As for the rundowns, it'd be funny to see them both introduced as small, kind characters before ramping it up to the cosmic shit with Vex and the Imagisphere for Sackboy along with The Anti-Monitor for Maxwell. They could even mention how the Presence was name-dropped in LittleBigPlanet's DC DLC. The death would also be amazing as you could either have Sackboy use his potent abilities such as his time manipulation - highlighting a key difference about the characters and where their powers differentiate. Or have Maxwell nuke everything with....EVERYTHING.

I’m thinking the set up could be Zim conquers earth and kills Dib so Dib hires Blitzo to kill Zim. And a fun thought is that Since Brandon Rodgers is primarily on KZbin there’s a chance he would be able to voice Blitzo and maybe even bring in Richard for Zim since they work together on Helluva Boss. I honestly have this gut feeling that Skipper VS Perry is gonna happen as well as Inuyasha VS Rin Okumura because in Goku VS Superman they put some Inuyasha Clips and another Season of Blue Exorcist has announced, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do it. And of course like all seasons of Death Battle there will be a Marvel VS DC fight so maybe they will do Moon Knight VS Azrael, Vision VS Red Tornado, and Bullseye VS Deadshot (also Ego VS Mogo but I don't think they will do it just yet). Now that DB brought Mythology I think there will be a myth fight next year though it's honestly a stretch. Since they put Odin VS Zeus in the Tournament of Champions it might not happen... However there's Neptune VS Poseidon which wouldn't surprise me if they do it (though the chances of it happening is slim to none). When it comes to uniqueness I think there's a chance that DB might consider folklores as an episode, so maybe we can get Zorro VS Robin Hood, but again, it has a low chances of happening. DB would obviously do anime fights and there's a lot namely Joker VS Giorno (or Kira VS Adachi), Whitebeard VS Escanor, and Eren Jaeger VS Ken Kaneki... I honestly hoped one of them would happen next year. And finally a video game themed fight where the only ones that I can think of are Kazuya Mishima VS Albert Wesker, Among Us VS Fall Guys, and Bowser VS Eggman. I know it's an honorable mention in the description, but I think Senator Steven Armstrong vs. President Funny Valentine is likelier than you think. And I know, JoJo pfp = JoJo bias. But for that matchup I also look at it from a Metal Gear perspective, despite having only played one (being the one Armstrong is from). Metal Gear Solid 3 is having a remake coming up next year, and Metal Gear hasn't had a lot of official media since the dreaded Survive, so having something for DB makes sense to coincide with MGS3 Delta. This MU was able to become a DB Cast, which I will use for reasoning predictions as Doctor vs Rick was also one before. Like testing the waters. That matchup would be great for July 1st, 2024, close to July 4th, and I know that sounds weird for that to be Canada Day, but trust me as a Canadian, nothing is more patriotic to the average citizen of the country with 3 ocean coasts than: an animated battle to the death between two+ satire American politicians that were also designed by non-Americans.

Well i mean the Reimu one is not a bad matchup per say but i rather has Reimu Hakurei vs Rika Furude (Touhou vs Higurashi) because both are shrine maiden who are really damn powerful on their own verse, but for some reason i saw some people support Dr Strange vs Reimu more then any other Reimu matchup.

One matchup I thought of out of nowhere from watching Tokusatsu was Big One/Sokichi Banba from JAKQ Dengekitai VS Cure Ace/Aguri Madoka from Dokidoki Precure/Glitter Force Dokidoki. Heroes from long-running series made by Toei that appear halfway within their respective series, becoming leaders of the team, both being able to control powers of their respective members (Ace able to control Cure Heart's love, Cure Diamond's ice, Cure Rosetta's shields and Cure Sword's daggers and Big One able to control Dia Jack's electricity, Spade Ace's atomic powers, Clover King's gravity and Heart Queen's magnetism), having the motifs of playing cards and the thematics of roses alongside the series collaborating a handful of times such as with Precure × Dekaranger, Precure Max Heart × Magiranger and Super Sentai Movie Party with Kiramager × Ryusoulger × Lupinranger vs Patranger × HUGtto! Precure × Star Twinkle Precure × Healin-Good! Precure. I know it isn't likely but I just wanted to talk about because I love Super Sentai and Precure. I probably could make it a 3-person battle royale with a Kamen Rider character but I don’t know who would fit.

Some Ideas that I got in my Head and many of them involve Capcom: Captain Jake vs. Classic Mega Man (this idea may sound ridiculous at first glance and yet, when you think about what do these two Blue-themed Pint-sized Powerhouses have in common when we dig deeper with the ideas, the Fight would make too much sense for Me). Terryman vs. Gunloc (a Shueisha vs. Capcom-themed Matchup of mine that makes too much sense). Jecht vs. Asura (a Final Fantasy vs. Capcom-themed one to go for sure). Lord Dominator vs. Akuma (a Disney vs. Street Fighter-themed mix-up that makes some sense in some aspects). Rebecca "Revy" Lee vs. Lady (a Shogakukan vs. Capcom-themed Matchup that makes too much sense). Issei Hyoudou vs. Edward Falcon (well, I felt like if there's a Kadokawa vs. Capcom Game, then this Matchup makes too much sense). Akeno Himejima vs. Trish (a Kadokawa vs. Capcom-themed Matchup that makes too much sense).

Only think I disagree with is the ToC pick. If we go by what the team seems to be the most exciting about, it’s Monokuma vs Koro Sensei. Everytime the match is brought up, Chad James gets so excited about bringing him in and whenever a Danganronpa character shows up, almost anyone on the DB crew that is public about there opinions say they need Danganronpa in an episode. It’s very clear that they want these two series in and imo from the match ups in the ToC, Korokuma had that in spades

Honsetly, Whitebeard vs Yamamoto makes way more sense and is much more Hype than Esacanor. The only reason it isn’t as popupular as it was 10 years ago is because how long it took for TTYBW to get animated. While Gwen vs Eve is a good matchup and one I like, I feel Mark vs Gohan is more like because Dragon Ball usually gets atleast 2 matches year and I feel Gohan and either Piccolo, 17, or Cell are due this year. For the 200 episode I’m thinking either Maka vs Ruby or Luffy vs Naruto as the two biggest frontrunners

Monkey D Luffy vs Muzan Kibutauji is a good idea. Both got their powers by consuming a blue thing (Gomu Gomu no mi for luffy and blue spider lily for Muzan) giving them incredible power and also a major weakness (not being able to swim in water for luffy and not being able to go in the sunlight for luffy) and their final strongest form has white hair. So I think this would be nice.
