Honestly Phil Leotardo’s death was the most satisfying of the entire series considering how despicable & hell bent on revenge he is. Also the fact that that it took the both help of the FBI and Phil’s crew to finally track him down and take him out

Adriana's death is absolutely number 1. I remember watching it when it first aired. Long Term Parking is still the episode that is the most affecting for me (maybe other than Employee of the Month, which I sometimes skip during rewatches because That Scene is too harrowing). I would also say that Tracee's death at the hands of Ralph ought to be in here with honourable mentions to Minn Matrone and the waiter Paulie shoots in the face outside the restaurant, too.

I love the arc of Ralph turning his life around and growing as a character, realizing how important family actually is and how it placed against Tony being super selfish and egotistical and not being able to handle Ralph being a better man then him.
@cupriferouscatalyst3708 Жыл бұрын
It's wild how the show insisted on trying to make you feel "Hey, maybe Ralph isn't completely horrible" before you remember that he beat a completely innocent young woman to death outside the strip club while high as a kite and was never seen showing even a smidgen of regret at any point after.
@JiaPia33 жыл бұрын
Pussy’s death was the saddest for me. I knew it had to be done, but it didn’t make it any less painful. Adriana‘s death was pretty harsh, but also understandable. It was kind of unfair because she was tricked, but still. She was forced Into being an informant, if I remember correctly. I remember her tiny moan right before she was shot. I didn’t cry, but I was close with both of these deaths. I remember being so shocked by the vomit with Adriana though. Jesus-that’s my biggest phobia. It was tough watching this series with that phobia. It seems like vomit was the new blood back then.
@dam1853 жыл бұрын
Yessss, i say this all the time. The FBI forced her into being an informant after bullshitting her and telling her they got her on cocaine possession with intent to distribute when all she had was a very small amount for personal use. But her dumb gullible ass fell for it instead of telling Chris or even Tony, and would have easily got out of it with a lawyer. FBI hands down got her clipped

I think the number one death scene should have been when Tony got whacked. If you watch the last few episodes leading up to the series finale there are hints leading up to Tony's death which the show writer David Chase has already confirmed. In case you were not watching carefully the finale scene we see Tony walking up to the window at the restaurant and he looks in the window and sees himself sitting at the booth, which indicates that was his spirit watching his own death again. Also, in the episode prior we see Tony with members of his family go into hiding and he goes upstairs to sleep, yet when he wakes up its very bright and he is surrounded by an all -white background. That was him lying in his casket, and then he relived the last 24 hours of his life leading up to his death. I also believe Uncle Junior was also dead because the jacket Tony wears to see him just before the restaurant scene, is the same one, he had on outside the restaurant where he saw himself sitting at the booth, so most likely Junior died from dementia while sitting in his wheelchair and Tony's spirit went to see him. You can tell no one in that room saw Tony there talking to him. Just watch the scene and you will see what I am referring too. Sopranos was a great show!!!!!!!

8:30: “In any dead pool, Steve Buscemi’s characters are always a safe bet”. Are they? The other role I most identify Buscemi with after Tony Blundetto is Mr Pink. And he’s the only character in Reservoir Dogs who survives (iirc - it’s been a minute), in fact I’m pretty sure he gets away with the diamonds. I’m not saying the video isn’t factually correct, I’m just saying I don’t really think of SB as a guy who gets hired because he “dies” amazingly well on film. Or even just an actor who happens to die a lot onscreen.
