I remember doritos only had 3 flavors available for years , plain ,which was in an orange bag,nacho cheeze in the red bag and sour cream and onion in the blue bag..That was the 1970's .They were the only corn chip available at the supper market except frito corn chips and tortitos who came out in the late 70s.There wasn't a zillion brands of corn chips out there like nowadays.The doritos were much better then and don't taste the same as today.

The first dude in this video doing the Cajun Ruffles is Justin Wilson. Man that guy was hilarious on TV and also had a cooking show which aired on PBS. My mom and sister were in the studio audience a couple of times at the PBS studio in New Orleans where Wilson filmed the show back in the '70s and '80s . One of his favorite lines was "Never cook with a wine you can not drink!" and he liked to knock back quite a few glasses and flirt a bit with the ladies in the audience and was more of an entertainer than a bonafide chef. I could never remember the brand that made them when I was a little kid and as an adult I was noticing different variety of cheese balls on the market so I have tried many of them and none of them taste like the ones from a can in the early 90s :( I've even found brands that do make them in a can like planters did but they taste nothing like the RIGHT ones. Oh well, now I know why lol.

I loved the wrestling ice cream bars. If you find blue bunny ice cream sandwiches, they taste very similar, just without the chocolate shell, bit the cookie part tastes the same as what was on the wrestling bars.
