I laughed joyfully during the waterfall scene in The Emperor’s New Groove, teared up in Mulan’s “Reflection” (because I can relate to Mulan’s struggles to fit into societal norms while trying to express herself), Beauty and the Beast’s ballroom scene sung by the wonderful late Angela Lansbury, Mufasa’s Death in the Lion King and sang my heart out “Part of the World” in the Little Mermaid and Jasmine’s part in “A Whole New World” in Aladdin. Disney is still a huge part of my life and I’m so thankful for its magic to put a smile on my face.

Lady and the Tramp is one of my favorite Disney movies because it's very romantic. Certain scenes in Lady and the Tramp remind me of six Thomas the Tank Engine stories about being careful, eight Thomas the Tank Engine stories about working together and eight Thomas the Tank Engine stories about behaving well. The stories about being careful are Percy Runs Away (from Volume 3), Thomas Breaks the Rules (from Volume 4), Henry's Special Coal (from Volume 3), The Flying Kipper (from Volume 3), Trouble For Thomas (from Volume 1) and Toby the Tram Engine (from Volume 3). The stories about working together are James In A Mess (from Volume 4), Duck Takes Charge (from Volume 4), Down the Mine (from Volume 5), The Runaway (from Volume 5), Better Late Than Never (from Volume 5), Tenders and Turntables (from Volume 3), Trust Thomas (from Volume 6) and Percy and the Signal (from Volume 7). The stories about behaving well are Thomas Comes To Breakfast (from Volume 3), Pop Goes the Diesel (from Volume 5), Diesel's Devious Deed (from Volume 5), A Close Shave For Duck (from Volume 5), Gordon Takes A Dip (from Volume 5), Double Trouble (from Volume 4), A Cow On the Line (from Volume 4) and Trouble In the Shed (from Volume 3).

Those moments DEFINITLEY shaped our childhood, more stayed with me forever: The Mufasa's death tears me apart every time I see and anyone cries, well show how would our reaction be if our parents die when we were children and without knowing what is the death.. Also "Let it go" (the most magic song for me, I sang it a lot as child), Hakuna Matata (the most catchy and funny song), when Mulan climbed the column that no one could in "I'll make a man of you", "Almost there" from Tiana, Spaghetti dinner from Lady and Tramp, Ballrom waltz from Beauty and Beast, and "I see the light" from Tangled
@leannedoyle72502 жыл бұрын
Bambi's mom dies. That should be on this list. Also, the spaghetti kiss from Lady and the Tramp should be higher on the list. For most of us, that moment defines our first idea of what we think true love looks like.

I would say that Disney moments that shaped my childhood would be Cinderella’s magical dress change moment, pretty much the entirety of Sleeping Beauty but the one moment that I feel made the biggest impact on me was either the Philip vs. dragon Maleficent fight scene or when Aurora touches the spindle, Snow White getting kissed by Prince Charming, Beauty and the Beast song, Robin Hood’s Love, Toy Story’s “Falling with style” moment, Peter Pan’s You Can Fly, Part Of Your World, Mufasa’s Death and….I can’t think of one particular scene to put down…Oh! Probably Be Our Guest! I know I’ve already put in one Beauty and the Beast moment but both of those moments made a huge impact on my childhood! ❤️❤️

One of my defining moments is found in The Rescuers, when the mice are asking Rufus the cat what happened to Penny and why she left the orphanage. Top 3 (In my opinion): 1. Reflection 2. A whole new world 3. Mufasa's death These were the three moments on this list I remembered watching as a kid and inspired from them. While Mufasa's death may not be as influential as others, it tells the truth of reality where we all have to face and as you grow older, you understand the message more. The other two are inspirational because it shapes up your future from your childhood, however, reflection is more impactful than a whole new world because it reflects us, literally, and tells us how we look to ourselves, and I can relate to this because my life has been a challenge (I mean sad but true).
@BG-be8di Жыл бұрын
OH I LIKED YOUR COMMENT, VERY THOUGHFUL, and it's true because those moments remained engraved in our childhood and now when we are"older", those come to light again and we understand them and reflect more.. because those reflected life situations, helped us to understand it and also inspired us.

A few: The transformation of the Queen into the Witch (Snow White) The stepsisters' ripping Cinderella's ball gown to shreds, and the fairy godmother materializing at her side to comfort her (Cinderella) Baby Mine and Pink Elephants on Parade (Dumbo) Bambi and Thumper on ice (Bambi) "I've Got No Strings" (Pinocchio) I'm glad some good moment from the pre-Renaissance films made it into the Honorable Mentions; I agree with all of these.
