Easily the strongest servant in the fifth holy grail war if Herc and Gil weren't in and he could actually land his NP properly. He could, after all, spam his NP (the stab) up to (I think) 7 times due to his master's high mana reserves

Lancer man loses so many times to plot. Otherwise he'd win a lot. Against Saber he could've killed her that first night if he wasn't ordered to run away (maybe). Against Archer in both encounters he had the bowman with his back against the wall. Cu is, after all, one of his biggest counters. Even against UBW, his Protection from Arrows, speed, and battle continuation could get him close enough. Against rider his speed could probably dodge anything she could throw at him (assuming he doesn't underestimate her or get caught in her mystic eyes). Definitely with shinji as the master, maybe with Sakura as the master. But this is a guess so don't quote me on this. He already was beating the crap out of true assassin, and he might even defeat false assassin so long as he doesn't get caught in Tsubame Gaeshi. Caster could go either way. His speed might allow him to get close enough to kill her, but her projectiles and flight might make it hard. And berserker is obvious. Even if Gae bolg could kill him, it probably won't do it again. Both with God hand's resistance to the previous attack, the rank requirement, and his own battle continuation, cu ain't winning this one. If he spammed Gae Bolg at the start (cause he could spam the thrust up to 7 times with his master's reserves), most of the servants in the 5th holy grail war would be dead. His enemy is his luck stat. AKA plot. If you got a high luck stat, you can defy the laws of fate. Otherwise your screwed.

@@Esper0101 Bruh..., Rin Saber(or Alter with nigh unlimited Mana, let alone a theoretical full power Saber who would straight up atomize him right at the start of the fight) > Lancer. But you're right about him being capable of beating Shirou Saber and the others except Berserker and Gil.

Servants do have powers the very act of them being a servant us magic. Lancer has his magic spear, rune magic craft, the ability to basically negate being hit by projectiles, he can take a LOT of dmg before actually dying, etc

by the way lancer from fate/zero and lancer from fate stay/night are different characters they are however of the same class

Saber, Lancer, Archer, Assassin, Beserker and Rider are just classes. Where characters from mythology/history are summoned in to so a saber is not always the same character for exaple Julius Caesar and King Arthur are both Sabers. They fight for a master aka a mage that summoned them. To get the holy grail that can grant eny wish.

@@percyjackson5075 Not really, the incredibly absurd + partly pretty lame(it literally starts with a way more powerful swordmaster who has all around higher stats jobbing to a Bullshido Martial Arts dude, and not cause there is any deeper meaning but for no good reason) Kuzuki fight for example has absolutely no business in any Top 10 Fate fights ranking.
