If anyone still gets surprised over the US's lower classes being ravaged by the rich, the health concerns of food and the absurd products in general, the amount of murders by gun, (including children shooting children and children shooting themselves, siblings and parents) the drugs, the rape, the wars, the homeless and sick.....you should know better by now. The United States is the most fucked up country on this planet, does nothing to better itself, acts like it owns the world, when in reality, everyone hates you because you're bunch of gun toting, sister fucking, high school drop outs who's mission in life is to get wasted and have the conservatives eliminate all forms of fun, freedom and diversity. Clean up your fucking country or shut the fuck up with your complaints. Bitching about what's wrong with it doesn't do fuck all to change it, and speaks of the character of the typical American: "I don't like this, but I'm not going to do anything about it, because someone else should."

to be fair if youd swallow a whole kinder egg (without the toy inside) it would be mostly just as dangerous, the egg shape makes it fairly resistant towards breaking so the toy doesnt make a gread differenc also even as an adult youd have realy hard time even getting a kinder egg completly into your mouth and im talking about the yellow toy 'box' thats inside the egg

Kinder surprise eggs are available in other countries because their children are smarter than American children. Also the children in other countries are more closely watched.
@rayc.13968 жыл бұрын
I am a little older than you and remember all those things and more. You are right about the time period and also the incident with the 3 year old. By that time I had a 5 and 6 year old. We spent a lot of time watching them. Not to hard as my wife was a stay at home mom, but the tragedy wiped out a whole generation of new toys that would have been what children would have loved if they had supervision, I always blamed a lot of the problems with this countries children on the parents who decided they had to work when the children were young so they could keep up with the Jones's.

@Starchild918 жыл бұрын
I think the last one is so stupid. Kinder eggs aren't any more dangerous given to a child than other small objects given to a child. As a parent, guardian or whatever name you prefer, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure your child doesn't try to eat inedible things. It is also your responsibility to make sure your child doesn't choke on anything it decides to put in it's mouth. Instead of banning kinder eggs, just give parents a written warning on the box, so no one is stupid enough to buy it for their toddler and leave them alone with it. And if you physically can not read said warning, then you shouldn't be in charge of a child anyways. This is also an excellent opportunity to teach your child that not all things are edible. Some things are for playing with, and some things are for eating. If the child is too young to understand what you are trying to say, then don't fucking give them a choking hazard! Same goes for any other small object, not just Kinder Eggs. You so silly, America... Guns that could kill a human within one second is allowed, but chocolate that comes with a small toy isn't? Yours sincerely, someone that grew up eating 3 Kinder Eggs every single Saturday without ever trying to swallow the (obvious) plastic toys

Just read many comments, and I'm struck by how many Americans are so critical of what people in other countries eat. Food that is "acceptable" to eat just depends on the culture you were raised in. I have Irish relatives who don't see what the big deal is about "hamburgers", yet I was raised in the US (immigrated here when I was about 6 yrs old) and LOVE burgers. It shows sheer ignorance to go on and on about how "gross" you find the food commonly eaten in other countries is. And, keep in mind that in many parts of the world, food is scarce, to the fact that they eat EVERY part of an animal just shows they've learned not to waste anything.

If not we will just sit back and see the nonsense playing out. It's kind of comical really.
@strawberryme086 жыл бұрын
Aspartame is poison. do a little research. the FDA was not going to let it through because of the toxicity until someone got paid to let it through. It causes tons of health issues including slowing down metabolism causing people to get fat. Which is what they were trying to avoid a lot of the time but toxicity is what makes us "fat" a lot of the time. The body creates a fat cell to protect the body from the toxin. If you knew what real sugar did to the body you'd be more mindful of it as well. It creates so much inflammation and makes you lose minerals because it's a nutrient negative food. not to mention the amount of pesticides ingested with it. This is one area I do know my stuff. I teach people how to heal the body in ways most are not familiar with. People are way too undereducated in these areas and everyone is freaking fat, tired and sick! Even those who do take care of themselves are struggling a lot of the time.
@strawberryme086 жыл бұрын
look at the scientific studies on it. it's toxic and was deemed toxic and denied by fda until some guy came in and paid someone else to approve it. Most things approved by FDA is "safe" and causes cancer. you don't have a need to care or notice until you have the need to care and notice. Kind of like the nonsensical idea that RX meds "Heal" anything. Methanol is released when aspartame is broken down. it's toxic to the body. the end. It's no ones business if i choose to put it in my body or not wo I'm not sure why anyone cares so much.

@Dakerthandark8 жыл бұрын
Nenad Simovic I hope thou be trolling. 70 kilos of worms a year =~ 0.2 kg a day. Even if you ate 0.75 kg vegetables a day, that would mean more than quarter of vegetables are worms.
@djkillcrazy8 жыл бұрын
He was just spitting random numbers at you. 4500 tons would be 9 million pounds. Someone who ate 10 pounds of food a day, every day, for 100 years wouldn't have consumed a fraction of that figure. Kinda makes his original 70 kg (154 pounds) figure seem far from credible. Even your own math tells you this, the idea of eating 0.2 kg (almost half a pound) of bugs a day without knowing it is absurd.

1) Mirabelle Plums are the same deal as with champagne, which is why US champagne must be called sparking wine. It has nothing to do with import laws and everything to do with France refusing to send under ripe fruit, to protect the quality of their product. Mirabelle plum trees are available to buy in the US.. But like how Vidalia onions can only be grown in the Vadalia area of Georgia, any not grown and certified as a Mirabelle, isn't a Mirabelle, even though it's from off a Mirabelle plum tree. 2) Ackee is available in the US if the manufacturers have gotten it green listed and can be found both canned and freeze dried without much looking. 3) Queen conch can be found readily for sale. 4) There is some canned haggis that contains lung that can be bought. Not EXACTLY the same thing as haggis in sheep stomach... but close. Of course, there is nothing stopping anyone from making their own sheep lung and stomach haggis... 5) The biggest issue with swans is most people don't know the natives from the invasives. Swan is buyable, but very expensive. Better to hunt your own. Mute swans are swan cockroaches. Have fun. Don't get caught. 6) Blood pudding/Black pudding on a stick.. I'm not sure what the issue is. Blood pudding is easily found. By the way, notice they are talking about the method of preparing it, right? That is because it is a street vendor food on Taiwan.. If the method were altered to fit USA food handling standards, it would not be an issue. 7) Wild caught, yes.. But not farmed. 8) This is true. 9) Maggot cheese is illegal EVERYWHERE. But people still eat it. 10) It has nothing to do with them being a choking hazard. Have you seen them? I have. A friend from Europe sends them to me regularly, the container in the egg is HUGE, and if I, an adult, could not choke on it, a child couldn't. The issue is the US had a law about non food items being inside of food items.. Which is exactly what a kinder is.
@gazzaclarkson25476 жыл бұрын
La Bella, your number 1) is incorrect. Champagne is a region, the wine from it is protected as coming from that region only. It has nothing to do with selling fruit, and EVERYTHING to do with trademarks.

Here to set the record straight. There are various types of Kinder Eggs. The Kinder Surprise Egg with the plastic egg(and toy) surrounded completely by chocolate are illegal to import and sell in the US. Although they are not illegal to have in the US(Though, if they are not legally sold by the company, then someone illegally imported them). This stems from FDA regulations on candies and cakes dating from the 1920s and Customs import bans. Since they were introduced in 1974, they never been legal in the United States, regardless of the rumors. Since they are not banned in Mexico and Canada, a lot of them do make into the US. There could be a fine of $2500 per egg if caught importing, though most custom agents never enforce this, instead just confiscating the eggs to be destroyed. If your caught selling these eggs by a health inspector, your shop could be shutdown, or again a fine of $2500 per egg. Again, this only relates to the Kinder Surprise Eggs with the chocolate covering the entire plastic egg. There are other variations of Kinder Eggs that are legal in the US to sell. No one in the US has ever choked to death on a Kinder surprise Egg or Toy, but there have been many deaths attributed to choking on eggs/toys from Kinder Eggs in other countries.

Technically, the beef in fast food menu items like burgers, burritos, etc. is allowed to contain a percentage of non-beef ingredients, like fillers (usually soy) and things that accidentally got into the mix, like bugs, including maggots. So really, it's not an either/or choice anymore; it's both (fast food and heavily processed food), just the bugs (less processed foods like pre-cut salads and candy and snacks using red dye), or neither (assuming you have the option of growing and raising your own food while watching for bugs).

We want our kids to follow the examples being set by such people? It's no wonder that many children, in many Countries, have problems with treating others with respect. Here in the UK, kids treat parents, teachers, law enforcement officers and, many others with such vile and disrespect. They watch and listen to parents and even grandparents do the same and, the adults wonder what the hell the problem is. Parents telling their children that no one can make them do anything they don't want to do and, when they put it into practice by telling their parents to piss off, they are floored! Calling children fat and stupid doesn't fix the problem....especially when all around there are fat and disrespectful adults. Go figure.

@Tocomaco7 жыл бұрын
It has to do with the fruit that turns way too fast, not as much a ban per say, but not practical for shipping, and has had it's try, but failed for FDA, and the worry of separating the nut shell from the fruit, too spoil the fruit faster. Also, it has, as what videos I watched, the good/different, and bad tastes in ripeness, just too unstable in harvesting a single string comprised. But of course great where it's grown fresh no matter how it varies. But yea, would I love to try it just once!

Certain stores can get them imported in, if the vendor is vetted by DHS. They just take longer to get them, it's not a day 2 process.

this is a country where they have guns in every home (whether you're sane or not) and parents homeschooling their children to believe creationism explains our origins. it's obviously both, though i think kinder eggs are awful.

The worst thing about it is that it's soaked in wine to stun the maggots. If they aren't stunned, they will eat into your stomach and GI tract. And sometimes the wine doesn't work...

They're illegal to sell at retail as meat but you can still buy them from the butchers for "Dog food" and the US Government can't force you to NOT eat dog food. Same thing with raw whole milk in a lot of places here; farmers sell it as "calf formula" to get around the FDA (may it rot in hell lol) In theory, it's because sheep can be carriers of influenza and when you butcher an animal a lot of the more toxic fluids can seep into the lungs making them "dangerous" to eat.
