I stopped pre packaged foods, seed oils, sugars, all breads/flour 8 yrs ago. Changed my life/health and reset my brain! This was about a year before YT came into my life! What an education since that time! I automatically fell into an intermittent fast routine without knowing. Ate when hungry (11am and 4:30-5pm) YES….first year was more difficult as I gave in to cravings about every four weeks. I didn’t keep ANYTHING in house that could be tempting. Thank you Dr. Ekberg for so graciously sharing your knowledge with an easy to follow breakdown. Will be 90 yrs in 3 mos.🥳

@@drekberg But what do you think about consumption of broccoli (sprouts) ? Dr Chaffee tells us that they're highly carcinogenic, and veggies like Broccoli are hard to digest, and also difficult to absorb nutrients from. I would love to hear your honest thoughts about this. I used to eat alot of broccoli thinking I was being healthy, but was constantly constipated, windy and felt horrible. The broccoli sprouts gave me weird ulcers on my tongue after eating it and felt stinging in my mouth right away( Low chance something else may have caused it ).

65yrs always boasted about being healthy (not sporty / slim healthy), but RARELY pick up a bug or get ill, RARELY have stomach upsets so I guess my immune system has been good, despite yo-yo dieting and years of bulimia, never exercised much except dancing. Now Inrealise i’ve been INCREDIBLY LUCKY and if I continue in the same way this will change rapidly. I’m only 5ft1 (151cm) and had got up to 73kilos (11stone 7lbs, 161 lbs) HOWEVER, my middle has widened at an alarming rate lately and undulating fat where I used to have a tight stomach, and I have skin tags popping up much more (we’re told they are inevitable with age and occur where underwear rubs etc - but as a bra wearer for nearly 50years I don’t buy that argument). Now I’ve discovered your channel and how much it makes sense, I started low carb, OMAD and am down 4kilos in the first 8 days. I’m starting a new me. THANKYOU Dr Sten. I'm a plant based diet person. Meat and fish ect is not the problem. Its the processed and ultra processed "foods" that's the problem. Also foods that contains: pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and antibiotics ect. I have to be careful about what I eat as a person on a plant based diet. That's why I will do my best to get my own garden or a farm.

2 tablespoons of unsulphured organic blackstrap molasses has almost 100 mg of magnesium. That also gives over 700mg of potassium, 6mg of iron and 220mg of calcium. I feel that the super sticky nature of molasses helps the body better absorb all these minerals.

Molasses are fantastic, I sweeten my 1 pint of raw Jersey milk coffee in the morning, never hungry until late afternoon.

The only problem with molasses that it's a "non-heme" iron source (meaning vegetarian). The body absorbs non-heme iron very poorly.

Pozdrawiam😁

Hi doctor, I love your videos. Currently attempting my first 48hr fast. I wanted to request a video about fasting during the different stages of the hormone cycle for women please. Can we fast at any point without adversely affecting our hormonal cycle? The info online is not very detailed. Thank you!

I think you should include pure raw cocoa mass in your chocolate category. I eat it every day now and it isn't even nearly as bitter as you would expect from 85% chocolate bars. Thank you Dr. Ekberg, I might try out that nutty yoghurt at some point. Sounds interesting. 😃

@@man_at_the_end_of_time Tried your cocoa in a stew with lentils and tomatoes yet? I found that to be really tasty! It was inspired from the super veggie recipe from Bryan Johnson and is just modified a little bit. Although cocoa dominates the taste over the herbs in there, and added lime juice seemed to play an important part for that matter.

Another so great helpful video, much thanks. I live in Japan where there isn't much information available on low carb...Keto diets, of which I started my own journey into it three weeks ago and already I am beginning to feel benefits (for example an arthritic hip is not nearly as painful as it has been). A Japanese friend of mine just told me yesterday that his doctor informed him that he is borderline diabetic, although my friend is a thin very athletic individual. A non-English speaker, I tried to bestow upon him some of your words of wisdom about diet, but it's not easy to convince a Japanese to give up rice. I just wish your excellent videos were available with Japanese translation for my dear friend.

Thank You @f9qo. I am now dubbing the original English audio track into multiple languages so I can get the message of health out to more people around the world. To choose your preferred language, simply go to the bottom right of the screen, (or maybe top right on mobile), and click on the gear icon (Settings). Then click on "Audio track" and select the language of your choice. I am diligently working to translate and upload more videos in more languages every day, but it will still take some time to get most or all of the videos translated. Thank you for watching and feel free to share this feature if you know people who prefer another language.

That is great news, and I will certainly share your information with others. By the way, your Nexus body testing page that linked from this video, does not seem to be working properly. The video doesn't play and clicking on adding to cart doesn't advance.

I’ve been low-carb since october ‘23, but I miss bread, so I have started preparing crepes occasionally, about 60% Einkorn flour, 40% dark rye or buckwheat flour, an egg, and some milk and salt. No recipe, I’m working in Tablespoons to make about 4 pancakes just for myself. I fry them in lard, and I use no syrup or sugar-I just like them plain. Doesn’t bother my gut (I believe rye and buckwheat are good for the gut). Considering where you come from, I’m always surprised you don’t ever talk about rye bread or WASA bread (flat bread).

Ive been taking Magnesium biglycinate 320mg/day. Sleeping much better and more energy, but.... I've had unconfortable tingling in my lower legs and feet after 2 months. Why is this? I can't find anything online. Stoped taking it 2 days ago and symptoms have disappeared. I've recently taken collagen, hyluronic acid and herbal teas. Not sure if they are causing it.

Thank you @no.5810. Not sure. If you were seeing improvement initially, I don't see Magnesium Bisglycinate creating a problem. Hope you figure it out. 😄
