What an education since that time! I automatically fell into an intermittent fast routine without knowing. Ate when hungry (11am and 4:30-5pm) YES….first year was more difficult as I gave in to cravings about every four weeks. I didn’t keep ANYTHING in house that could be tempting. @@drekberg But what do you think about consumption of broccoli (sprouts) ? Dr Chaffee tells us that they're highly carcinogenic, and veggies like Broccoli are hard to digest, and also difficult to absorb nutrients from. I would love to hear your honest thoughts about this. I used to eat alot of broccoli thinking I was being healthy, but was constantly constipated, windy and felt horrible. The broccoli sprouts gave me weird ulcers on my tongue after eating it and felt stinging in my mouth right away( Low chance something else may have caused it ).

I live in Japan where there isn't much information available on low carb...Keto diets, of which I started my own journey into it three weeks ago and already I am beginning to feel benefits (for example an arthritic hip is not nearly as painful as it has been). A Japanese friend of mine just told me yesterday that his doctor informed him that he is borderline diabetic, although my friend is a thin very athletic individual. A non-English speaker, I tried to bestow upon him some of your words of wisdom about diet, but it's not easy to convince a Japanese to give up rice. I just wish your excellent videos were available with Japanese translation for my dear friend.

Having had a kidney stone, I am wary of oxalates & almonds are high in them.

I’ve been low-carb since october ‘23, but I miss bread, so I have started preparing crepes occasionally, about 60% Einkorn flour, 40% dark rye or buckwheat flour, an egg, and some milk and salt. No recipe, I’m working in Tablespoons to make about 4 pancakes just for myself. I fry them in lard, and I use no syrup or sugar-I just like them plain. Doesn’t bother my gut (I believe rye and buckwheat are good for the gut). Considering where you come from, I’m always surprised you don’t ever talk about rye bread or WASA bread (flat bread).

Bonsoir Docteur et merci pour votre travail. Ce qui est bizarre c'est que la traduction en français devient parfois incompréhensibles avec une déformation des mots et ça ne ressemble plus à rien. Merci.

Ive been taking Magnesium biglycinate 320mg/day. Sleeping much better and more energy, but.... I've had unconfortable tingling in my lower legs and feet after 2 months. Why is this? I can't find anything online. Stoped taking it 2 days ago and symptoms have disappeared. I've recently taken collagen, hyluronic acid and herbal teas. Not sure if they are causing it.

Thank you @no.5810. Not sure. If you were seeing improvement initially, I don't see Magnesium Bisglycinate creating a problem. Hope you figure it out. 😄

А я то думаю с чего меня на свёклу потянуло. Кстати свёкла (beet) ещё и кровь хорошо очищает и давление регулирует. Благодарю доктор за вашу работу 😊❤
