You’re one of the few doctors I watched almost a year ago when the doctors told me some of my organs were not how they were supposed to be. I couldn’t use the restroom, I couldn’t eat, I was always in pain, I thought I was not going to feel better or come back to my normality. I will never forget a comment a person told me: *the same way it took time for you to get like that is the dame way you are going to get better, it’s going to take time.* Fast forward a few months, almost a year, I have learned a lot from you. Thank you 😞 It’s still hard, I am still learning but I am so indebted. Please continue doing this doctor. Love from California ❤️

Examples of Korean fermented soy products are: ‘doenjang’, fermented soy bean paste (similar to miso), ‘chongukjang’ fermented soy beans (similar to natto, but eaten in soups), and ‘ganjang’, and “gukganjang’, soy sauces (unlike Japanese and Chinese soy sauces, it doesn’t contain sugar). 😊

QUESTION: You stated in this video that some person had their microbiome checked after eating fast food for 1 week. How did they do this, what test was given to find this out, and how can we request one? To me, the microbiome is the foundation of all well-being and health. So I hope to receive an answer to my question. Blessings, Dr. Ekberg for sharing your incredible knowledge!

I know very well that artificial sweeteners are very bad because my body it simply rejects them. For example if I try to drink 1 liter of diet coke during a 24-48 hour period, I'll just end up throwing up until my body is fully cleansed of it. Same story happened with a coffee that a friend of mine served it to me. He used lots of some kind of artificial sweetener, and not only that I felt it taste disgusting, but I ended up throwing after 5 minutes and I felt bad for the rest of the day until my body was able to filter it out. Currently I'm on a bad path with sugars, and all that I can say is that it affects everything from muscles brain and digestive system and even blood flow. This video is very informative and I hope that people will get to see it because it sort of explains how much an average person poisons itself daily just by eating and drinking, believing that they live a semi-healthy lifestyle.

The chlorine in the public water system kills bacteria, but the reason it is there is to “detect” it. Typically, clean water is maintained and stored with 1ppm residual. If residual starts to decrease without explanation, it indicates contamination. This is the Beauty of CL2 it performs both jobs, disinfection and it is the most cost effective indicator of water contamination.

@@WilliamFergusMartin I cut added sugar completely, started a form of keto but not full keto, more veggies especially beets, avocado, leafy greens and cruciferous veggies. less carbs, lots of intermittent fasting, bulletproof coffee, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice in water first thing in the morning, cut off soda/alcohol, long walks and moderate exercises, HIIT sometimes, olive oil, eggs, Omega 3 fatty acid supplements yeah that’s about it. Did a follow up scan after 5 months and no more sludge.

Thank you so much Dr Ekberg for this informative video! I have a suggestion for a future video. Could you please tell us about the preservatives, binders, and fillers commonly used in supplements and their effects on one's gut and health in general. A lot of us are taking at least three different types of supplements to aid in our health journey but little we know about additives and their impact on our health. We need basic knowledge to be able to differentiate between the ok, the evil and the less evil. I read a lot about these but like everything else there is so much conflicting opinions out there and I am no scientist. It can be very confusing for the average person. Thanks again for all you are doing to empower us.

Great material, as always. Thank you for explanation concerning soybeans. I found that Natto is the great source of vatamine K, but the fermentation process is essential to have it ready to eat. Japanease take a special care to add the needed bacteria to initiate the process and avoid all others.

I got rid of sugar (and all other sweeteners) and almost all gluten. My gut is sooo much better. I have also moderated my cheese intake and eat mostly feta (I am of Greek descent, after all). I have cut out red meat almost entirely. I actually have not cut out anything completely except for sugar. I am mostly pescatarian and have watched Dr. Ekberg's video on fish to eat and follow that. I am not totally keto. I do eat legumes (or pulses). I eat vegetarian about three times a week. About three times I have fish, and one time eggs. This dietary change followed a divorce. I have lost 45 lbs., my blood pressure is normal, I have no joint pain, have not taken a medication (even and aspirin) and my poops are normal. This has been going on for five years, and I am my 60s. I am even getting back to where my body was in my late 20s. As Dr. Ekberg stresses, diet is everything.

I was on a subreddit and commented innocently I am on keto and I avoid wheat in my diet. Lo and behold, I received a lot of downvotes with a couple people being really condescending and said I reject science and compared me to the antivaxxers. All I did was said I am in keto. I am a lot healthier and feel a lot better since I am on keto, so thank you dr. Ekberg. But I will never bring up my diet choice in front of anyone who enjoys the SAD for fear of retaliation.

What is bad about being compared to antivaxxers? 😛
@vincentgrondin7586 Жыл бұрын
You forget that 8 billions of people are not Americans. So your SAD is to compare with other cultures and let s be honest, American food is the worst ever. Keto is not the answer but American Junk food is the Devil. That is it.

I just started with the implementation of Doc Stan's recommendations. After one has fully understood the simple truth of a healthy lifestyle, there's no way back. First two days made me suffer, but now it's easy. One safes money & time by avoiding buying huge piles of food & beverages and the entire cooking hassle around abundant meals. Keto is really simple 😃. In addition April 23rd 2022: My daughter (24) visited us recently for Easter. It was a real shock for us, that she doesn't use her brain at all regarding food. Taste over health. Huge portions of noodles, sweets, alcohol etc

The only soy I consume (at the moment) is Bragg's Aminos. As for other fermented foods, I make my own sauerkraut, and I want to expand into more fermented vegetables. This is all somewhat new to me. As a 6-year-old, I ate nothing but sugar, and was in the hospital with kidney disease and malnutrition. I've come a long way, thankfully. And I've discovered that the simplest foods, made with quality ingredients, taste best.

Me too with Bragg's aminos. I eat supermarket refrigerated sauerkraut daily, 1 pinch, like a vitamin. I'd love to ferment more veggies too.
