I love all of his obsessions, not only Adam Driver and the relationship with his business daddy. I love his bits about fuckable horses, hamsters in speedos, and the newest one, rat erotica. Every week with Last Week Tonight is a good week. No matter what happened, John and his crew manage to make it a bit more bearable and are able to keep the spirits and hopes high. John is also one of the few hosts who adapted really good to the situation of not having an audience, the first one or two shows from the blank void in his home were a little bit strange, but I don't miss an audience. What is also great about this show: Since the pandemic I guess the production costs went down without a studio and without the regular big stunts that they made, but they replaced that with donating big amounts of money to charities that keep things going during this health crisis. Applause to that. Last Week Tonight is a show that not only informs in an entertaining way, but also tries to make the world better by pointing out what people can do to help.

He is American since December, but I totally agree with you on what you said. He always says that they are not a journalistic show, they are a comedy show, but the amount of research and the accuracy of the reports are better than what some journalists put out there. Give people knowledge, but make it entertaining. I mean they even made bits about Special Districts and Gerrymandering entertaining. A BIIIIIIIGGGGGG shoutout to his whole crew. It's not only him, the determination of all his staff is amazing. People tend to forget that he is the only one who is in front of the camera, but that the magic happens behind.
