Probably daycare? In Finland kids start elementary school in the year they turn 7, but there is pre-school before that too.

Many under 3 year old are still home with their parent/s. I think my mom was with me at home until I was like 3. But many go back to work when the kid is like 1 and that's ok, everyone has a different type of way to handle it. I am 29 but I remember my day care a bit. We played a lot, that's the thing there, there was a lot of fun. And I remember naps haha 😂
