@@TheErsatzMode humans rule this planet because we are top tier beings nothing even comes close. Sure a 1v1 match up with a gorilla were you nerf the human by not allowing it to use tools then yea human loses in physical power. But we didn't conquer the planet by muscle power alone we also used imagination and creativity to create armor and weapons. So in that case no animal on earth can conquer us. This whole human bad narrative is really silly in my opinion. So yeah these strongmen are using tools available to them to push the limits of the human flesh is pretty inspiring regardless of your beliefs. And in the future I have no doubt that there will be a new drug or some new augmentations or whatever that will push human limits far beyond what's even possible current year. I love animals and all that but let's be honest if it was some other being that was In our place it would probably be the same story.

No straps and no suit pulling over 1000lbs is probably the most impressive thing on here. Take the straps and suit off of both Eddie and Thor and neither one is pulling what they pulled. Mark Felix doing 735lbs for 17 reps shows that grip is very important. I'm surprised that Thor even made the list considering how much they openly hate each other. Love Eddie, either way he's pretty awesome and he definitely set the new standard of where a deadlift needs to be. Pretty much now if you aren't pulling over a 1000lbs you aren't even in the conversation for best deadlifters. I'm surprised that Shaw never tried to go for 500kg when he was younger. Solid video

From what i can see, the tires are easier to lift because part of the weight stay on the ground while lifting for a much longer travel.
@cartoonking9735
@cartoonking9735 4 жыл бұрын
Yeah basically the lift is further away from the person. All the weight on a standard bar is closer to the lifter and it dorsnt bend as much so its a more accurate 500kg lift. An elephant bar has the weight far away from the lifter and it stays on the ground longer while the centre of the bar is higher so you need to lift less weight to lock out. Even more so the case with the tyres.

Also, density can affect the perceived weight. A simple unfolded piece of paper seems lighter than a paper that is crumbled to its core. Add those papers thusands of times and you get the difference between lifting a tyre and a weight.
