I love sports. If I show an interest in one, I don't care if it's the men or women playing I'm watching it. My favorite pastime is rooting for any American or teams competing with other countries in any sport One of my favorites is the U.S.women's soccer team. I'm happy that women's soccer in the U.S. is giving women a chance to make a decent living playing soccer. If women get a chance for higher wages then I hope they get it because they deserve it.

Tobin is a magician, with ball skills that are just unnatural. I have seen her literally run rings around good players. She has also showed up to youth teams, providing role model and thunderous inspiration.

@@bkirstie im a girl and I already know this wont happen... men's pay has come from 100s of years of football and markets. oman only been doing league football about 20 years or less. Messi makes more a year than the woman league even takes in profit in 5 years.. sothe money isn't there.

I don't think the salaries in women's football needs to get higher. But the male football players should be paid much less. Nobody is worth the money the highest paid male players are getting, unless they are curing cancer while scoring.

Salaries are based on TV Money, if a club can afford it, its their own choice, but i agree that a doctor for example is more important than a football player

I guess people don't understand that you need fans to bring in money so they can pay the players, they play to empty stadiums often, they have no draw, but that being said the players crying the most are still multi millionaires, Megan rapino has a net worth of 5 million dollars. Landon donavan with a 20 year career only has a net worth of about 14 million, playing to full stadiums. Just a piece of trivia, the Uswnt got their asses handed to the by a U15 boys team 5 - 2, they're not that great as they would like you to believe.

Just a piece of trivia, the Uswnt lost 5-2 to the Dallas FC Academy team 7 ( yes, seven ) years ago, in a training game. ......... they're not that great as they would like you to believe. They won the WWC 4 times , as much as every other nation combined. As far as the WWC is concerned , they " are " that great. Pity you cant even google facts before you post.

It isn't a shame. Look at how many money men football generates and look how many money women football generates, its not even close. It would be unfair too give money that men played for too a woman who plays for a team that generates less TV-Money and stadium money, Men football is just bigger and i don't know if that will ever change, if it doesn't change it stays like this forever, i think it is pretty fair.
