Wow! What a great year for Hindi films! As a college student, I had enough time to watch all these films. Meri Aawaz suno was a surprise film from Jeetendra. Though Kranti was the biggest hit of 1981, My favourite film was Naseeb! I still love to watch it again and again!😃 Lovely episode ❤.

Nice episode about 1981 Rakesh Bhai. As always your presentation is superb. 1981 no doubt belonged to Amitabh Bachchan and Hama Malini. Jeetendra’s position finally improved although he did many south remakes which were hits down south already. 1981 had many entertaining films especially Naseeb and Yaarana. 1981 also introduced new generation of stars with Sanjay Dutt, Kumar Gaurav and south superstar Kamal Haasan. Dilip Kumar made a grand comeback in character role but still a lead role with Kranti and Manoj Kumar as the producer and director did great job. It was great to see dilip Kumar with manoj Kumar and shashi kapoor as father and sons and also shatrughan sinha with Hema Malini, Parveen Babi and Nirupa Roy. One of the best epic multi starter patriotic films indeed. Enjoyed the whole episode like always. ❤❤❤👍👍👍

Great point about how the verdict of a film is calculated. People used to get upset when I tell them that Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander was a Hit but not a blockbuster for the same reason. There are many factors involved like the distributors and not just the business done by the film.

Good information again...but for any year we have a vague idea of top 10 or atleast top 5 films... I personally wait for your episodes for that unsung movies which are in 11- 30 rank bracket..in that sense little disappointed..

I understand your point but i have checked most people not showing much interest in episodes from 11 th film onwards.. episodes are not very successful..this year from 11 onwards most of the films were average.. flops..you can check this top 10 episode is not going very successfully..it hurts when your hard work goes wasted so I am sure I saved enough energy and time for just making one episode of top films .i hope you can understand my point also 👍
