WOW, I realize you didn't grow up in the 80s watching 80s TV but you left off: 1. Top Gun - Charlie played by Kelly McGillis drove a 1958 Porsche Speedster. 2. Road House - Doc played by Kelly Lynch drove a 1989 Jeep Wrangler. 3. Hunter - Dee Dee McCall played by Stepfanie Kramer drove a 1984 Dodge Daytona Turbo. 4. Smokey and The Bandit - Carrie played by Sally Field drove the iconic 1977 Trans Am. And yes she did drive it in the movie. The women that did not have their own car on this list were Warrior Woman and Heather Thomas and Rebecca Holden. Still a cool list/video.
@MFPMapFilmProductions Жыл бұрын
Yes I did grow up in the 80s, in Australia. So we did not exactly get everything on TV. At least, not everything was as popular as others there. In hindsight, Dee Dee would have been an excellent candidate, sometimes some people slip through the cracks. Sally from Smokey and The Bandit is a more suitable candidate for a 1970s list. If more ladies can be found that suit the criteria, perhaps a part 2 video can be made. Or, once all decades 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and 20s, are done, an honorable mention top 10 video of those left out could be made.

What I find funny though is how feminists hate these depictions of women and claim they were exploited for their looks while forgetting that the women played upto their looks just as much for their own benefit as the directors and producers. Don’t dip your vocal tone at the conclusion of every sentence (inflecting it is just as bad). Keep it straight down the line and consistent with how you’re saying other words in the sentence (snap it off, don’t elongate). This method works best for your type of presentation voice. Good luck!

I get the speed of talking issue as that is on me, and yes, you'd be surprised that a video's appreciation for the youtube algorithm comes from its length as I have discovered through experience. Your video(s) would be more enjoyable if you’d narrate in a normal speaking voice, instead of speaking like you’re in a speed reading contest (not to mention the mostly monotone delivery).
@MFPMapFilmProductions Жыл бұрын
I wish I could disagree, but I am aware the narration is a weak part of the videos. Although the speed is something trying to be improved, the monotone voice is to make sure it is as clear and factual as possible and not "personality" driven and fake sounding as some people who are not as natural at the art come off sounding fake and can be off putting as well.
@machupikachu1085 Жыл бұрын
@@MFPMapFilmProductions I'm a public speaking coach, and OP does have a point here. When doing public speaking, one almost cannot speak too slowly. We know what we are thinking and saying, so our brain can keep up. For the audience, this is the first time they are hearing and processing the information. For example just look up 'greatest speeches' or 'greatest public speakers' and see how slow they are actually talking. Remember the acronym LURE. In order to lure one's audience in, each audience member goes through a 4 step cycle: L isten U nderstand R eact E mote It only takes a moment or two between sentences for the audience to go through those 4 steps, but they cannot get to 2, 3 and 4 if they are still in step 1. Slowing down and putting noticeable pauses in between sentences, commas, or...for impact will help funnel every listener to the desired effect. This gives everyone a chance to enjoy your great content to the fullest extent intended. I for one have been listening to the last few videos of yours on 3/4 speed just for reference. You have a great channel here and little tweaks like this will help bring in a larger fan base. Hope that helps. Looking forward to more stellar content. Cheers!
