Happy new to you as well as all the lady lovers out there. My absolute favorite is definitely the Maya Carina pairing followed closely by Bradley and Laura. As a very mature woman myself it's good too see more mature sapphic representation. Though I am perpetually single, it makes my heart infinitely happy seeing same on air❤

Hope you manage to keep up the great work in 2024. Happy New Year! P.S. I nearly gave up with Deadloch because Eddie was driving me slightly insane early on in the season. However I'm so glad I didn't as it was a terrific show.

Happy New Year! Thank you for more wonderful content. I really enjoyed Deadloch as well. Still have to watch Dead Ringers. I was wondering did you ever do a review on Charity and Vanessa from Emmerdale? I looked but didnt see anything in your videos but figured i could have missed it. I know its an older one and they are broke up now but their chemistry was good and thought they were good for each other.

Fantastic wrap up of the year 2023 in queer content you rate . I really enjoy your content the way you put it all together and your cadence . Yes I agree about Morning Wars season 3, it had that energy back again that felt lacking in season 2. Deadloch one of my favourite shows ever :-) Nyad was brilliant. Station 19 I will have to put time into although sadly I hear it has been cancelled. Tar was a brilliant film as long as you don’t go in thinking it’s a love story . The part where Lydia runs on stage and pushes her colleague off the stage had me thinking for days. Cate was sublime as always and the writer of screenplay did himself proud. Hannah has pushed so many boundaries and pushed a few buttons on the way and hope they continue to do so. I just watched second season of Vigil (I was so surprised didn’t know it was coming ), very short series but plenty gay 😊 Happy New Year to you 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I guess that I'm shallow w/ arrested development and a very male female gaze, but "GAP: The Series" made my year- & maybe the rest of my life- in terms of Sapphic content. I know that it came out at the end of '22, but I didn't start watching until after the end of Gen Q in early '23. I was so disappointed in that show; when YT kept recommending GAP, I finally started watching w/ an attitude of "how much worse than Gen Q can it be?"; I'm still visually addicted to Freen & Becky.
@100percentshipper Жыл бұрын
I totally understand the draw of GAP and think it's an important piece of content. It just wasn't my cup of tea!
@elizabethmorgan29311 ай бұрын
@@100percentshipper Like I said, I'm shallow w/ a viewing preference for hot femmes in love. But the thing that blew me away about GAP was that regardless of Freen's & Becky's offscreen proclivities, they had the most convincing onscreen Sapphic chemistry that I have ever seen in my several decades of viewing WLW content. Their eye contact made me feel like they were following an unwritten emotional script between themselves that existed apart from the show's script, and I'd never experienced that before between two actresses. More importantly, however, I've never seen two actresses parlay their roles as lovers into a rather lucrative brand. They're everywhere in that part of the world- GQ, VOGUE, Tiffany & Ralph Lauren ads, etc- people want to see them together bc they achieve an incredible visual synergy when photographed together; I can't imagine a similar Sapphic-themed phenomenon occurring in the West, certainly not in the US. In fact, I find the popularity of GL/BL mainstream TV series kind of astounding in light of the fact that the rest of the world seems to be trending homophobic. Until GAP, I wasn't aware that there was an Asian queer culture of any significance, and I'm really surprised that one exists in a way that surpasses the West's. I would give anything to see a female couple make a similar dent in the rest of the world, but thus far, no two women have captured the public's imagination to the extent that Freen & Becky have in Asian countries. Which begs the question, "Why not?"
@джана-с2ю11 ай бұрын
@@elizabethmorgan293 True !! But some people dont like asian stuff its in their blood.. but asians love ,respect and support everything no matter where it comes from .. that makes them UNIQUE... GAP is the best series I have watched in 2023.
@magorzatamargaret2944 ай бұрын
@@джана-с2ю I dont ike some asian stuff because sometimes their acting is like artificial to me....or childish and I dont find itattractive, but some of them are really very interesting and I definitely like a respectful way they treat each other - that is a class and humanity....In the West I find most of relationship like rubbish...the same as nowadays ''western style of living''....that is awful, really awful....

I loved Dead Ringers and season 2 of Vigil, and Tar was a lot better than I expected. I will be checking out Nyad and Bottoms soon. One dishonorable mention, just because it was one of the worst and most disappointing movies I ever watched: Scream 6. Anyway, may 2024 bring us all that which has been sorely lacking in recent years: peace, love, hope, togetherness, and liberty.💗💗💗
