I think anyone who's been doin any strength sport for a while would understand that some days you get to hit a total grinder of a PR, and sometimes it flies. But that might also be all your cns was good for, you try to go up and get stapled. Sometimes it's good to just be happy you crushed the PR leaving an exciting "?" on what you're capable of and a W.

I love that the clean is such a technical counterpoint to the snatch. You need to know what you’re doing to snatch well, but man, you can walk into any division 1 track or football weight room and see some random female shot putter smashing 125 off her hips for a set of 3 jumpy reverse curls or a running back doing a 175 smash and dive/pray.

Rahmats clean technique just has to be efficient or these results wouldnt make sense right? His power position looks to be AFTER hip contact and not at the knees... Think it was on sika strength Gurph pointed out that it is very close to be disqualified lift if there would be a noticable pause before extension. But since it seems to be moving its OK.

Minasyan and Lalayan are both goated, not sure who you meant. I do believe that Lasha had peaks where he had a 500 in the tank via 227 and 273 but I do think right now it's 50/50 if he does it or not.
@alistairwillock7266
@alistairwillock7266 7 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, watching him move right now has me convinced that his window of possibility for attaining that 500 has closed. His body is clearly breaking down from having had to carry those high bodyweights and training volumes this long. I actually think that if he'd come along 10 or 15 years earlier - when the doping levels you could get away with were relatively higher - would have given him a better chance, as he'd have been able to hit higher strength levels without carrying as much excess bodyfat. I don't believe it's possible for him to even regain his 2021 form now.
