When I was a kid we took our tree down Jan 2. Now at 60 I keep mine out all year. It's pink and lights up and it's only 3 ft. I love the lights

❤ I'm 48 and remember the same Jan 2nd, school the day after. 🤗 I haven't had a tree since 2010, but this year my grandson's Calico cat came to stay. My 8 yr old grandson insisted the kitty would love it. Sure enough, it's an enchanting addition watching the twinkling lights and a happy kitty. 😊

Instead of the expensive cord covers and ziploc bags to protect connecting cords outside during the holidays, I use Glad Press n' Seal --- the stuff works great!

We bought a Samsung washer and dryer a few years ago and have nothing but problems. Thank goodness we have a home protection program because we’ve had to replace the dryer motor twice, and it just started making the dreaded “replace me” noise again. The washer has its own issues. Sometimes, it just doesn’t feel like spinning, so we have to shut it off and start the whole cycle again. 🙄

That small parts pickup tool for things that fall in hard to reach places would find many uses at my house. The kiddos are always losing things that of course end up in the worst places possible. And by kiddos I mostly mean me :)

I just went to Home Depot and got on Wet and Dry Vac. 16 gal. for $59.99. You say that This was a good deal the other day on you page, so I went out and brought it. HD16400 model. Thanks, its better than Lowes. Home Depot Black Friday deal ends 11/22/23 so hurry in to buy.

For anyone who is shopping for a new dishwasher....give serious consideration to the Midea model in this video. I have owned this exact one for about 2 years. We are a large family and it runs 2 to 3 loads every day. I didn't know much about the brand when i bought it. I have zero regrets with my decision to take a chance on it. After 2 years of fairly heavy usage, it still looks and performs as well now as it did then.

Matt, I've been using the "Twist and Seal Cord Protect" product for a few years now. Based on my own experience, these work very very well. They form a proper seal when closed due to the durable rubber gaskets on the product. They are well worth the investment to protect cord couplings in wet weather. For the record, I also tape the cords together where they are joined using electrical tape for good measure. Also, I have not experienced a scenario in which this product was lying in a low spot and submerged completely in water. I do not believe it would withstand such conditions. But for typical rainfall, snow, and morning dew type moisture, they have worked very well so far. Five seasons and running. In fact, I will be using them today (11/18/2023) as I am putting the lights up this afternoon! Hope this might help some folks. Thanks for all the great videos!!!

Just know Lowe’s can’t install Gas ranges. We have to contract that out. So the free installation for appliances is for fridges microwaves and dishwasher and electric ranges. Also if you don’t have a Lowe’s card see an employee and apply if approved you can save 20% up to $100 and 5% off every purchase after that

Helpful hint. Lowe’s gives you 5% off most things if you are a Military Veteran. You DO NOT have to be a Retiree, you just have to have served. And Active, Guard and Reserve get the same discount. Hope this helps.

FYI - the two fireplaces are both rated at 1500 watts - so the 19" model is NOT more powerful than the 15" model. You would pay half the price for the smaller fire and get the same heat out of the unit . The difference is in the lower settings at 750 watts (15")versus 1000 watts (19").

I can vouch for the craftsman drill and driver and tire pressure gauge. Have had them for awhile now and all work great. Digital gauges make a great low cost gift for everyone and they are much more accurate than the stupid pop out ones.

13:21. The inflatable things . sometimes the lights that come with them are not to bright. Get a small strang of the mini LED lights for 5$ , shive them inside or strong them up inside & it works like a charm !!!

As a warning, I bought a dishwwasher for my mom last year, and that "FREE INSTALLATION" is a lie! They make you do a separate transaction to pay for the installation (which they told me would be $300), and then you have to apply for a refund after they have installed the appliance. Read the fine print. I ended up installing the dishwasher myself. This wasn't hard for me, but it could be hard if you don't have the right tools and patience.
