It Happened on Fifth Avenue is a fun and heartwarming movie. It takes place shortly after WWII, when a “hobo” moves into a Fifth Avenue mansion while it’s owners are down south. He invites a veteran, who then invites his friends. The daughter of the owner shows up unexpectedly, but instead of ratting them out, she pretends not to be rich and tries to fit in as she falls in love with the veteran. Sweet and funny!

I first watched it when I was in kindergarten, and it was a difficult movie for me to find since I couldn't remember the name of it. All I knew was that it had a sad yet happy ending and some of the best Randy Travis and Allison Krauss songs, it wasn't until I was in high school that I finally found it on DVD and I watch it every Christmas season with my family. I even bought the soundtrack. It may not be award worthy but it does deserve more attention because I can feel how much heart went into telling this story. I wish it at least played on TV or was on some kind of streaming service, but I'm just happy to know that there are people who still remember this sweet movie. Thank you WatchMojo for adding it to this list!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Last Christmas is awful. It's a drama rather than the romcom it's claimed to be. The protagonist supposedly moved to the UK with her family after 1999 to escape a war that ended in 1995. We're supposed to believe that she works year-round in a shop that only sells Christmas decorations. The film is supposed to be feel-good but the twist towards the end is feel-bad.

So glad The Man Who Invented Christmas is on this list. It's such a wonderful film! And Arthur Christmas is so underappreciated! And I've been watching Christmas in Connecticut since I was a kid. The 2009 Christmas Carol was better than I thought it would be, at least until it gets to the Ghost of Christmas Future, and then it goes off the rails, so it should have been ranked below The Man Who Invented Christmas.

I would watch Klaus if it wasn't on Netflix and made it's way to DVD / Blu-ray

I LOVED Annabelle's Wish! I used to watch it anytime of year. It's easy to dismiss because it was a straight to video movie, but it really is an underrated gem. I was just thinking about it and thought, "They better include it in this list!" And then it popped up! Thank you for including it!

Klaus is sooooo good! but my favorite Christmas movie has to be A Muppet Christmas Carol. I’m a sucker for all things muppets but the songs are just so good. Makes me emotional every time I watch it

I’ve seen Bill Nighy in Underworld. I was surprised he was in Arthur Christmas. Not to mention, I love that song by Justin Bieber in the movie

The Homecoming is one of those little known Christmas movies that is my personal favorite and the first I watch after It's a Wonderful Life. It's the first appearance of the Walton family and while the grandmother and children are the same actors as in the following series, the mother, father, grandfather, and general store owner are all played by other actors. It has a real sense of time and place and it is highly recommended. I would also recommend watching the Oscar-winning 1971 animated short, A Christmas Carol. This used to be a television staple growing up in the 1970s and has yet to be released on DVD or Blu-ray. Fortunately, you can find it on KZbin. It runs under 25 minutes, contains the whole of the story and excellently directed and animated. It's also very dark and scary for younger viewers.

I only discovered Klaus last Christmas, it's now a Christmas mandatory watch. I wish they brought it out on DVD so I don't have to rely on Netflix.
