My question is even if I have somebody's coins where do you go sell these things? Is the difference between something being valued and something actually like someone paying you for it. I used to collect baseball cards and there was a book that said a certain card was worth $20 but I could never find anyone to actually pay me that $20. They would only really pay me a couple bucks for it. So it doesn't matter what something is worth it matters with someone will actually pay you for it is it worth my time to go through all my parents coin collections to try to find any of these pennies and where do I go sell them? Do people actually buy them? I have no kids that passed them down to.

You might have a counterfeit which is *ILLEGAL* to sell or buy if you want to. You can take it to a professional, Or you may have a 1944 penny with no copper layer, or you may have a penny struck on a sliver dime, nickel, or silver quarter planchlet

I seriously think I have a rare Lincoln Penny I’m not a collector or anything, but I have moved back in with my mother who is 85 and I am 58. I’ve had a lot of surgeries and having been able to get out as much as I like, but have recently taken an interest in Coinz that just didn’t look right to me. I worked in the deli for years and I could pick them out. Anyhow I honestly did watch your video and had a pile of coins next to me and I checked every penny I had of that year or near that year and I really do think I have an honest 1944 penny.

The 1981 penny is probably worth the most, it’s mostly made copper so it’s melt value is higher than coins after 1982 (5 copper, 95% zinc)
