My point is that the movie version of Hit-Girl is nothing compared to the comic version. Deadpool only goes where there's money involved, and Wolverine spends most of his time alone. Hit-Girl, on the other hand, would decapitate you for being a dick to someone on the street. It takes much less to get her to murder people.

Depends on incarnation! In the mainline comics yes he was killed and revived by either Ra’s Al Ghul or Superboy Prime’s punch but for instance in the Arkham series and White Knight Universe Jason was not killed though not for the Joker’s lack of trying!

Read his comics, not just because he`s popular, DP really does some of the most gruesome gritty fucked up executions/torture/whatever else that i`ve seen in comicbooks, and i`ve read a lot. Frank deserves the number one spot, but DP is a contender for sure, probably because he fully enjoys it.

Hulk in the comics doesn't kill, crazy as it might sound if you only know the movies. Banner's subconscious influence stops him from actually taking lives, even when rampaging. Feel that kinda disqualifies him from the list when so many other heroes will take life without a second thought.

Moon Knight. If you happen to be a bad guy and you run into him just pray his mindset has him in his standard personality that way you'll only get beaten into a near-death state with the end result being you being thankful you're still alive but if he is in his avatar or berserker personalities you're dead and that death will be either quick or very brutal, vicious, and painful.

The way Rorschach kills the Child killer in the comics is far more poetic of the character created by Allan Moore than the cliche - Lost his temper and killed the criminal with what ever was close to him. - In the comic, Rorschach (via a Mad Max 1 ending) handcuffs the Child killer to a water heater then hands him a hand saw. He then tells him he can hack through the handcuffs or his flesh. Rorschach then sets the house on fire and watches it burn to the ground..and in the Anti-heroes words "No one leaves the inferno." He also kills the dogs of the killer cause they were just as guilty as their owner for feasting on the flesh of his victims. Not sure why they did not do that in the film since it shows Rorschach had already hit the bottom of his decent into madness and was digging deeper into the void. This was thought out, calculated. It makes Rorschach not just some hero that can't control his temper... but a merciless Judge over those he finds guilty. The type of "hero" that will break your fingers...than proceed to cut them off until you tell him what he wants to know. If the person being interrogated still claims ignorance after that mutilation? Rorschach lets them go. The act of torture is acceptable to him...cause you never know how much someone will go through to keep a secret. That is Rorschach

Conc: Judge Dredd, in the comics there had been times he was without his helmet, but it was done in a way his face was still hidden. (A flashback with his brother Ricco, with his face in shadows. A time when he was in the hospital, with his face wrapped in bandages. Being treated by a doctor for head wounds with his back to us...)

bifa Has he really changed that much from what he used to be? Not from my impression. Sure, it doesn't help that the comics replaced the regular timeline wolvie with the one from Old Man Logan a while ago (I read tpbs, i'm a bit behind.) Thing is, outside of that, he has most of the time been a superhero, even though he did start out in X-men like a kind of anti-hero. (Before that, he was pitted against Hulk and Wendigo in a superhero-ish way.)

The comedian should have made the list for sure he may have died at the begining of watchmen but you can definatly see more of his exploits & violent nature in the minutemen comics and i love that hes also back it the doomsday clock timeline which i recommend everyone to check out 4 sure...its fantastic to the point its up to so far!!

Leslie Pollard It's not about who's cooler it's about who is the most violent overall, Hulk and batman are lower on the list, because they generally don't kill. Hit girl, maybe because she is intimidating even without powers, Punisher, fuck yes, #1, but I do agree, that Deadpool should've been higher on this list.

I decided to go with characters who A) are synonymous with killing and who B) are popular and have had a long run. So characters like the Mask and Hitgirl wouldn't crack my top 5. Punisher's whole existence is centered around killing criminals. Deadpool comes in second only because he is less singleminded about it and sees it almost as a fun hobby, as opposed to the single minded obsession it is for Frank Castle. Judge Dredd, like Punisher, exists to pass judgement and kill criminals. He is behind Deadpool only because he is not as well known or popular. Wolverine is probably the best known and popular character on this list. And while he is ready to kill at the drop of a hat and will do what needs to be done, he usually doesn't use it as his first option. Spawn is all about vengeance, and is lower on the list only because he is not as well known or popular.
