Hopefully marvel does the right thing and combines the 3 into one. It would be just ovwr 1300 pages if they rebrand the existing OHCs into an omni. Perfect size. We then just need phalanx/legion quest to get the same treatment, along with the wedding being rebranded to have it all in omni up to AOA

@@stevebarnes8368 the wedding ohc is big enough to be a standalone omni as it's about 27 issues, 800 + pages. The others are easily combined. Phalanx covenant & legionquest were about 500 pages each, which would make a great pre AOA omni. Crossing & xcutioners song were less than 400 each and shattershot was around 600. Crossing/x-cutioners song was one of the top voted in the reprint poll, so that should get made as an omni soon. I really hope they do map it with the shattershot issues included, although I wouldn't be shocked to see them combine the first 2 then just rerelease shattershot as a separate omni.

Honestly, I would love mutant books collected in that late 00’s era with X-Men/X-Men Legacy, Brubaker/Fraction’s Uncanny, New X-Men/X-Force by Kyle and Yost, and Cable all collected similarly like Annihilation or the Claremont/Simonson event books. Make it like 5 omnis. It can stop at the Bendis era. I’d buy it all.

I'm still desperately holding out hope for X-Men Legacy by Carey set. We got XFactor by David! Maybe we can shift that energy over to Legacy

I'm mostly with Omar, but I'm a chronological collector. So I don't need such "butchered" Omnis like the Storm Omni or the Messiah Trilogy Omni. Instead of these two, I would add: - New X-Men/Academy X Omnibus - The Phalanx Covenant Omnibus And X-23 is not really that high in my most wanted, so I would add: - Bishop Crossing/X-Cutioners Song Omnibus PS: I also liked the Mike Carey X-Men Run very much.

Magneto War should be split into 2 Omnis, with the first being called the Operation Zero Tolerance Omni, with X-Men #65-70 and Wolverine #115-118 added to the mapping, plus whatever else was in the OHC. Maybe end the first Omni at issue 359 of Uncanny and 79 of X-Men. Then Magneto War can start with Uncanny #360 and X-Men #80, and fill the gap up to the Apocalypse: the Twelve omni, everything included!

The Messiah Complex Trilogy would be nice! I have the big X-Men event omnis from the 1980s-90s, but I lost interest in the X-Men from the mid-90s and early 2000s, so Messiah Complex kind of marks my return to X-Men.

The event omnis came first because up until Uncanny 5 they weren’t considered event omnis but in fact the way to collect these stories. Then Marvel had other ideas.

Like the way you set up the Legacy books. That would be pretty high on my list. My #1 won’t change until we get Dawn of X Vol. 1. With Krakoa I want EVERYTHING, good and bad and unlimited. Even if it’s a pipe dream.

I hope it is great and last for a while. - Messiah War (the middle one) I think works best outside of the the Messiah Trilogy, IIRC. - Omar, you are wrong ... Kyle/Yost X-Force is waaaaaaay better than Uncanny X-Force. - Gen X omni is pretty high on my list of wants and that is when Bachalo is great. - X-Completist like us wants everything. Carey's stuff gets picked up so much in HoX/PoX.

I know many of them appear here and there in other Omnibus Editions, but there are some issues that have never been reprinted in an oversized format, including #1, which is one of the best issues in the series.

I would love a X-men: Lost years Omnibus but it should include what you mapped and also the contents of the Champions Marvel Masterwork - Champions (1975) 1-17, Iron Man Annual (1970) 4, Avengers (1963) 163, Super-Villain Team-Up 14, Spectacular Spider-man (1976) 17-18 and Hulk Annual 7. If they want to get crazy - add Godzilla #3 as well. All of it would only be 1200 pages or so. Then all the "Lost years" would truly be collected. So if Marvel ever considers this have them consider this mapping.

X-Men: The Lost Years - YES. I wouldn’t mind if they called it ‘XMen Vol. 3’, since they left off at Vol. 2 with the original series. Should also include Incredible Hulk #182, since Wolverine appears.

The Masterworks printed those issues as X-Men vol. 7 and 8 so calling the omnibus vol. 3 definitely fits their numbering formats. Those two alone would be a small omni, but I know there's more that isn't included in the Masterworks

This really is the most dangerous channel on KZbin for your wallet. One, it makes you double dip all the time because, as an omnibus collector, you just can't avoid it if you like both ongoing series and events. Devil's Reign, anyone? Or, even worse, Blackest Night?! And of course, there are seemingly harmless little videos about omnis that don't exist yet. When I saw this, I thought: "He can't get me to buy any of these yet, because they don't exist. HA!" Little did I know ... Then you, Omar, talked about a hypothetical X-23 Omnibus Volume 2, which I can't buy (yet). But the problem is, I haven't bought Volume 1 (yet) either, and now I'm so incredibly tempted! And that, dear Omar, is the reason so many of us both love and hate you so much. 😉 Looking forward to, and dreading, your future videos! 🙃🤣

I don't know if there'd be room but I think thatvat least some of Avengers Academy should be included in an X-23 Omnibus Vol 2 should they ever make it. That is where the previous volume left off and it's definitely easier to make the argument for including that over say, Avengers Arena.
