I wouldn't be opposed to more of these on occasion, ya know, if you get bored of woodworking for a minute

This is the first time I've ever clicked on a Steve Ramsey video and only seen one comment. :) Guess those of us who subscribed here are an elite group. I have no idea why I subscribed. A Venn diagram of our movie tastes has only the slimmest sliver of overlap, so it must be your presentation style. :)

Yay! More movie stuff please! I watch everything you make, but it is too cold for me to work outside this time of the year, so movies are more fun right now.

The Vast of Night was PHENOMENAL! Incredible Twilight Zone vibe that seemed purposeful with the intro and outro. So great. Under the Silver Lake was another I LOVED that I finally watched this year. Speaks to my inner conspiracy theorist. 1917 was absolutely PHENOMENAL as well. A couple others that I liked: Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri. The Gentlemen Uncut Gems Knives Out

You are very intellectual and it shows in your craftsmanship too. Never knew you were into films that much I am too! You could probably run a good movie/show review channel. If you haven't already, definitely need to watch Under The Silver Lake by David Robert Mitchell. Not this year but one of the indie gems recently. Cheers!

Great list, Steve, I'll check them out. It really is getting harder and harder to find films that are genuinely scary. Part of that is desensitization, part is lack of ingenuity with the film makers.

Great video. You've definitely got some film critic chops. You should do some more of these through the year if you get time, maybe a top 5 of the quarter or something would be cool. I have limited free time for movies and don't want to waste it on a dud. Thanks for the video!

Swallow looks really good. Gonna have to check it out. I’m wondering if you’ve checked out Camp Cold Brook. It might be up your alley. One of my best friends was the announcer voice in the beginning of the movie his friend wrote the screen play. It was directed by Andy Palmer and stars Chad Michael Murray. Didn’t get great ratings on IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes, but still might be worth a watch.

Totally forgot about this channel lol. Will watch Soul and Queen's Gambit asap. Trying to remember what I've seen this year other than Palm Springs but it's overshadowed by how upset I am that I haven't seen Tenet yet. Was Bill and Ted 3 this year? Loved that. I don't do horror at all but most of my friends love it. Maybe that's why you've always made me smile, Steve. Thanks for everything, and happy new year! (Bar's a bit low, I know 😂)

Steve I recommend getting the movie app ‘Letterboxd’ it’s a great way of tracking your movies and rating them. Especially if you watch as many movies as you do.

Wow, that's a lot of movies. I think I only saw like 2 movies this year, Wayne's World 1 and 2 on DVD. And started to watch Scrubs, also on DVD, watched it until the middle of season 3. I think I'm not a huge movie or series guy. I'm not sure but maybe I saw Keanu Reeves' shitty movie about a diamond dealer and another movie called Searching (2018), maybe saw these 2 this year but I'm not entirely sure.

I didn't watch many films this year, I was busty, the only movie I did see was JoJo Rabbit and that's not even from this year 😅

So the obvious virtual signalling bullshit in modern day movies obviously doesn't bother you? I mean *Gretal* and Hansel, Becky, Horse girl, a bloke that acts like a girl FFS?
