@@ChristianTSullivan No, I genuinely thought it was going to be a fun and amazing movie due to how well they were promoting it and the entire stuntman marketing they were doing. The trailers made the movie look great as well. But the writing is just flawed. The comedy isn’t that great. The story at most is decent. It had a strong start but it just gets boring really. Probably my biggest let down this year including Kung Fu Panda 4

There’s a lot I haven’t seen yet for one reason or another but out of those I have seen my top ten would be 1. Dune 2. Challengers 3. Fall Guy 4. Love Lies Bleeding 5. Civil War. 6 deadpool 3. 7. Planet of the apes 8. Bikeriders 9 IF. 10 mean girls (haven’t seen quiet place day one or long legs ect..)

These are the best movies of the year so far that I saw: Twisters, Suncoast, Ordinary Angels, Challengers, Civil War, A Quiet Place: Day One, Porcelain War (a documentary but not sure if its getting a wide realase this year I saw it through Sundance online), Furiosa, and the best movie of the year still so far is Dune: Part 2.

Kingdom Of The Planet Of Apes had big shoes to fill While Noah as a protagonist doesn’t have the same epicness that Caesar does The movie was still solid for continuing to shine with its themes of how far us humans are willing to go for survival The king ape antagonist was also kinda funny

Villenueve stated, “I was very excited when I learned that the book would be brought to the screen. I remember watching the movie and being very mesmerized and impressed by how David Lynch approached it. I was destabilized by some of his choices. Yeah, David Lynch has a very strong identity as a filmmaker, of course, and it bled into the - it’s a fantastic interpretation of the book. But there were some choices that were made that was very far away from my sensibility. I remember watching the movie thinking to myself, ‘Someday, someone else will do it again in the future. It will happen.’ Because I didn’t feel that he captured some of the essence of, specifically, the Fremen culture - I felt that there was some things that were missing. That’s the nature of adaptation, you know?”

Dune 2 deserves all the oscars of 2024 cause its one of the best acting I have ever seen its Cinematography is astounding, the Sound System Hits hard, the story is amazing, Austin butler deserves the suporting role award Timothy should win the protagonist award and Zendeya should win leading female actress award the soundtrack is amazing! and who can forget the memeable Dune Part 2 popcorn bucket for the marketing this is one of the greatest movies to ever be made!
