I used to love Zoas but have been nervous to get back into them now that I have little kids and a dog and realize they can contain palytoxin

You would have to be cautious with Palys, not really zoas. But even a lot of our employees here never really have an issue. The things you shouldn’t do with palys, and the way you treat them, should be treated with every coral. With caution, safety equipment, etc. :)
