The past paradox pokemon are much better competitivly in pokemon scarlet and violet than the furture forms. That is still the case here in elite redux but which of these is the best and are any of them now broken with their new moves and multiple abilities at once.

Cool bug fact-Game Freak made it impossible for Brute Bonnet to get a speed boost from booster energy. If Brute has minimum attack and max speed, its attack would still be higher by just 1 point.

ironically i never designed scream tail's lineup here despite being known for doing wigglytuff related stuff in this game. i did design it's upcoming movepool though. amarkov designed the lineup for it iirc but he may have been thinking of me i'm unsure

How these mons work in practice: Brute Bonnet I can see the point you were trying to make on it being the worst, but I definitely wouldn’t call it that. Lower end but not the worst. Under sun it hits like a freight train, especially after a growth, and the speed can easily be compensated for via adaptability+solar power sucker punches. Even the defensive typing isn’t THAT bad: it at least has enough relevant resistances to give it enough opportunity to set up and start dealing damage, however it SUCKS into the bulky af steels. Slither wing: Likewise, Definitely should be higher, lower end but definitely not the second worst. Powder Burst actually lets it get free momentum on fires, since they have to switch out less they take damage using their stab alongside eating a massively powerful hit from slither wing itself, which in general nothing really wants to take a u-turn considering how strong it is between majestic moth, protosynthesis in sun, and hustle, along with it loving to run choice band. First impression on a Mon that strong is also an absolute asset. It can be at times prediction reliant and more speed would definitely let it more comfortably break defensive cores. Raging Bolt: This would probably be the worst of the bunch. The problem isn’t really that it’s weak, it’s natural kit and some of its buffs are semi decent…. It’s more so that everything else is absurdly strong, to the point where by ER’s standards, it would be considered as weak. Walking Wake: Why was it placed this low again? The concept of wake setting its own sun for itself, meaning it isn’t limited to sun teams, is broken on a base line… but putting him on Sun and thus allowing it to run Sun worship is absolutely ruinous. Conceptually it also is broken by default, since whenever this thing is paired with zardY, it ends up becoming broken and banned. ZardY not only exists, but now sets 8 turn Sun for wake and is equally as stupid in it’s own right, and I’m pretty sure that everyone isn’t exactly going to be willing to be forced to run sap sipper azumarill on every team to not get ruined by the duo. Gouging Fire: Zard x if it didn’t take up the mega slot. How is it that no matter the circumstance, gouging fire manages to share xard’s kit and do it leagues better while not taking up the mega slot. This time, while losing levitate definitely sucks, turboblaze is VERY applicable. for instance, while heatran would get overwhelmed by outrage, it could take at least one and land a toxic. Gouging in comparison just laughs at it and blows it up with a +1 raging fury before heatran could do anything funny. Fluttermane: Suffers a similar issue with raging bolt, in that the thing got little in comparison to everything else. Unlike bolt though what it does get guarantees it maintains it’s strength and stays Ubers, especially since if you so choose, you can cause opponents to potentially lose the game by killing it via giving a free turn to a set up sweeper, at minimum HEAVILY crippling the Mon who killed it. Roaring moon: Same shtick with iron valiant; overwhelm equinox Draco meteors just rip through everything with ruthless efficiency. It’s getting banned anyway on technicality due to fearmonger being banned, but it did NOT need the technicality to ensure that fact. Sandy Shocks: The things actual potential lies in being among the cascade of rising voltage spammers in eterrain, since naturally in eterrain, it hits like and absolute freight train with rising voltage, at least until eterrain gets axed as a whole. Charge beam sweeping isn’t really advised, since it loses HARD to faster shock wave resists, while also having walls despite its stabs, coverage and ground shock, for instance rotom wash. Scream Tail: Should it be 1st place: Definitely not. Does that mean it’s bad? Not at all. Whenever someone discusses this thing, all attention is directed towards huge power and it’s physical attacking potential with Nosferatu, and that is warranted, albeit it is NOT getting past bulky steels any time soon. What is scarier however is fur coat. Not only is this thing nearly unkillable with the ability, making it an amazing wall, it also helps give it’s special sets some love as well funnily enough, since it combos beautifully with calm mind sets, making them unbreakable balance breakers with stored power+fairy stab.
