thank you for this!! As Ive stated before, I love your videos, but they can be tough to navigate. One thing I would consider if I were you, is leaving the title of the game in the corner of the screen while youre on it. You generally only mention the name of the game one time before you begin telling us about it. If im not fully engaged 100% i end up rewinding a lot. But this summary list helps me a ton to go out and find the games I want haha.

One of the greatest things about Dragoon though is its huge diversity in locales spread across the game. I mean FF VII remake is going to be a great game, but Dragoon's world in my opinion just far exceeds any rpg in variation of world design. It comes very close to Skies of arcadia in my opinion.

@@yungjroc5193 Mainly i am speaking in terms of the different design philosophies incorporated into the world design. I would love to see something like this being remade in the modern era. Hell there is so many great classic rpgs that i would love to see remade. But i think some of them have so much variation that it would probably end up being an impossible task to do unless you create a project like FF VII with an ambitious but multiple episodic series.

20: It needs a return, it was a cool game with a cool setting. 19: Ah Camelot...Tony Taka does not come remotely close to your brilliance. 18: This is one of the best JRPGs ever made, It needs a remake. And we need a Breath of Fire 6, which definitely hasn't been made yet. 17: Another awesome series that needs to be brought back. 16: I have this game, it's weird and crazy and That is to it's advantage. Really wish Koei would revisit their non Warriors games already. Like say, a Kessen taking place in the Orochi series. 15: I have the GBA version, it's goofiness is amusing. I also love that one patch for the PS1 version with all the foul language, that one is hilarious. 14: I remember renting this one a few times, I love it's bizarre setting and premise (Hey look, a recurring theme in my opinions.). 13: This was goofy as hell, but it DID have some really good ideas. 12: I used to own this one as well, classic, mixing JRPGs and Western Setting, such a unique and well executed concept. Really wish this series would come back, HINT HINT SONY. 11: I have this, One of my favorite aspects of this game is it following up one the whole "We don't need Gods, We very fallible and corrupt humans will surely not fuck everything up." typical ending to many JRPGs/Anime and deconstructs the HELL out of it, and I love it for that. I will always remember Zophar as the villain who looked at that cliche and overused trope by going "I'm about to ruin this man's whole career.".

This second list deviates a little more in my opinion, but it's still a good selection! Thousand Arms is a gem on its own. When I first played it, I thought it would be just a generic anime title, but it was more than that. The humor it's the leading factor on this game and once you're into it, you'll really enjoy your time with the characters, which are stereotypes found on animes or, in resume, are relatable and funny. The dating system was a new experience for me at the time and it proved itself as a plus, with the addition of humor we see in the rest of the game also included in this segment.

So, I refrained from commenting on the first vid, as you pointed out there was a second, and I still feel like there are titles not given enough credit. Legend of Mana, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, Brigandine, Valkyrie Profile, Saga Frontier, Vandal Hearts, Parasite Eve. I understand that it's hard to make a top list, as you including any of these means you exclude something you have listed, which would honestly default to that title being on my list, and it would be an endless cycle of "why not X vs Y?" I do however believe that the games I've listed are underated, as I rarely see them get included on a top list. Edit: maybe instead of making a top list, you could make a recommendation list. It's easy to make a video saying "give this one a shot" vs "X is better than Y"

While I agree on the item limit part, at least the addition system was a (somewhat) easy fix. Not long into the game... and with a bit of money grinding... you can buy Wargod Talismans from the town where the fighting arena is, which completely negate the quick-time feature and automatically complete additions. Like you, I'm awful at timings, but at least that part of the game was bearable... even if it costs you your character's accessory slots (though to be fair, there are no other good accessories in the game) My biggest complaint with the game was the seriously high amount of translation errors. Almost every other big dialogue moment is marred by poor translation dubbing.

I think I understand why he doesn't like Legend of Dragoon as much as other games. It's just a guess, but I'm assuming that he has become very accustomed to playing these old RPGs on emulators. Emulators make it very easy to grind in RPGs thanks to their turbo buttons. But with things like Legend of dragoon's item capacity and addition system, turbo button really does no good in making the game go faster. I would really like to know if he has ever beaten the game, because I can picture him trying to cheese it on an emulator, getting frustrated, and having that affect his review.
