The Carreno Busta one well deserved the first place. The tweener just when the clock reaches 3 hours, the fact that it was a match point, De Minaur's reaction...everything was there. But Alcaraz's behind-the-back should have been ranked higher IMO.

The FIRST video of Alcaraz, I had watched and thought that was amazing ....then the others .....WOW. ALL were truly levitating ....except for the Kyrgios ....only because it's Kyrgios. I'm not going to give ANY credit to ANY player who has such a poor and disdain attitude. Just can't give any applause to this guy no matter what he does on the court ...or off the court. HOWEVER, I have never been able to get a grip of the fact that the ball does NOT have to over the net. Just so long as it drops into the opponents side is all that is required. @@spooky1304 The fact that Tsitsipas couldn't bury a 34-year-old Djokovic in the 21 FO final with a two set lead and then got a bagel from him in this year's Rome final. The fact that Medvedev couldn't put away a 35-year-old Nadal up 2-sets and having 3-2 15-40 in the third and not converting. The fact that Zverev might not even be injured if he could have closed out the first set TB in his FO SF against a recently turned 36-year-old Nadal up 6-3 and then served out the second set at 5-3, or if he could have held his nerve against Djokovic in last year's USO SF. @@remnant24 While technically true, since nobody great has emerged to replace Serena, this still kind of felt like her era. Osaka just doesn’t have the mental toughness, Barty didn’t have the desire to be an all time great, and Kerber never really felt like an ATG even while she was winning all those slams. Swiatek feels like maybe the beginning of a new era. Gauff has to win something for me to take her seriously as anything more than a promising prospect.

@@harveydodd8803 That's all super arbitrary and presumptuous. Also, just because the new gen are closer to each other in level than peak Serena was to her opponents doesn't mean they're not great. We've been in a "weak era" for so long that everyone starts dismissing champions who won't be retiring with at least 20 slams in the bag. @@remnant24 Did not call them losers. That was you being presumptuous. Sharapova and Becker were great talents but nobody considers that the Becker era or the Sharapova era. It was the Sampras and Serena era. Tennis always has an elite player when it’s going well. The outlier was having 4 elite players at the same time. But right now it is definitely a transitional period, and for that reason it really never stopped by the Serena era until she officially retired.

@@remnant24 The ladies younger generations? Who? Barty took over for like a year or 2 and then she retired. Osaka is lazy and she is so inconsistent. Serena was the last women who has some credibility in womens tennis. Venus had a slight resurgence in 2017. Victoria Azarenka & Maria Sharapova was ok-ish in 2010s. But nobody saw them the way they see the Williams Sisters at their peak. Right now I can only see Iga which has the true potential to dominate. Jabeur & Gauff still need some polishing to do.

Sinner's no-look forehand cross-court winner should be in the top 2 and not some run-of-the-mill tweeners. Federer's tweeners in 2009 and 2010 were more exciting.

When that speedometer says 125 mph, that's not the serve speed, it's the speed Alcaraz runs back and forth
