What I find interesting is that a Charizard has played a major factor in some of Ash's biggest defeats. In Kanto Ash's Charizard disobedience cost him the match with Richie. In Johto Ash's Charizard failed to defeat Blaziken. In Kalos Ash's Greninja loses to a Mega Charizard. So Ash finally becoming World Champ by defeating the strongest Charizard was poetic justice.

We all wanted ash and Serena to come together but somewhere Pokemon company can't do that , the simple reason is if they come together it will be the pretty much end of the story for ash and whole as Pokemon but as a company Pokemon company needs to keep running for its employees and all it can't just end. That was the same reason Pokemon company didn't end Ash's story because they knew that if the story ended we would stop watching Pokemon

The new art style is what kept me away from series. I didn't see that episode with ash winning but was glad to hear he won. Also the most famous song is the OG. You saying no other song has done what the music video that hit the internet was the biggest one It makes no sense. Since the OG song didn't depend on internet and still the most pokemon song of all time. As a matter of fact. The OG pokemon song is even known by people who never watched the show . Is part of culture . And the best pokemon song of all time. Saying this newer song is better it makes no sense at all.

In Japan, once there was an incident where kids died suddenly of shock due to watching pokemon in the dark and the screen flashed violently, causing the child deaths. Obviously it caused a lot of people trouble and I think it went off the air for a while. People were terribly burdened and it was scary to think that just watching TV could do such a thing. So now they always say to watch TV in a well lit room in Japan. That's where I am. TV was never the same. Kids' lives were never the same. Everyone was angered by the incident and there was much blame. I'll never forget that. I wonder if it was an accident. Maybe it was just that compelling a show. I don't know because I wasn't a viewer. I just remember what a major occurrence it was in Japan. The whole world was shocked by it. That I remember well. Many people were disappointed. Many people started to hate. Many people just didn't want to watch it anymore, no matter how curious they were of what happens next. It was supposed to be a fun thing, then it turned to something people hate. People criticized the show. I'm actually surprised it made it back on the air again. After something like that? You would really want to think TV is safe enough so as for something like that not to happen. It changed Japanese TV forever. Now there are warnings at the beginning of DVDs saying to take breaks in between and not to sit too close to the screen and most important of all to keep the room lights on when viewing. It was a terrible shock at the time and it was then that people learned the world isn't so safe afterall. I hope everyone got what I'm trying to say. It was a hard time for me.

Pokemon X and Y was a terrible series. However Ash losing the league was the only good thing because he didn't deserve to win with the team he had. Ash-Greninja was a mistake. Shipping is garbage and serena is the worst companion to this day. Journeys was somehow even worse as Ash won with a team of new pokemon that had no experience and development compared to other champions pokemon. I don't consider him world champion no matter anime says.
