Planning a Cebu beach trip this year and your videos are so helpful! Is it easy to go to the other island/beaches aside from Mactan? Thank you. :)
@FindingParadise2 жыл бұрын
Islands like Bantayan and Malapascua are going to take around 5 hours or more. There was a fast craft from Mactan to the Camotes before the pandemic,that was about 90mins. Not sure if they have restarted that.

Some hotels in Malapascua island turned their generators off by 10:pm! Make sure that the hotels you are booking into won’t do that!

Hi Rob... Came across your video for the future vacation plan to cebu... What resort do you suggest to family with kids ages 3 - 10 that adults can enjoy as well?
@FindingParadise3 жыл бұрын
Hey Grasha. Im not sure of your budget. I would of said have a look at some of the resorts in Mactan but they have been pretty damaged by the typhoon. They are open but you might want to contact them directly on latest updates.

Probably the Mactan Island ones like Shangri La, Tambuli et al. Movenpick (not in this video) reopens on 1 September 2022 as it suffered extensive damage from December 2021's Typhoon Rai (Odette).

is the 37k in Badian per night? Thank you for this video.
@FindingParadise5 жыл бұрын
Looking on Agoda today, they have rates from about 9k PHP per night. It all depends on availability and if its high/low season etc. So have a look at 3rd party booking sites or direct at Badian Resort online with the dates you want. They will have latest rates. Cheers

Although you said this video compilation is subjective, I'm surprised that Crimson Resrt and Spa is not on the list. I think (personal opinion) it really competed with Shangri-la at a more decent price
@FindingParadise2 жыл бұрын
Yes it's an excellent resort. I'm planning something with the resorts in Mactan in the future. The typhoon has made me delay it a bit.

Are there Condominiums for life long time?
@FindingParadise3 жыл бұрын
There are. Particularly in Cebu City, Mandaue and Mactan Island for long term stays. When you mean life long are you planning to buy?
@Grateful4Today5 жыл бұрын
Please specify the price, is it per night, week or monthly ?! Are you in real estate ?! is that why you only show super expensive places, you should consider that not everyone is rich as you are..
@FindingParadise5 жыл бұрын
These are just published levels I took from TripAdvisor - just as a guide. If you check with hotels or 3rd party sites they often have promos etc.

Thanks for pointing out that Shangri-la beach is artificial. I am not impressed given its expensive price. How about another video on hotels in Cebu City, in the party zone, if any?
@FindingParadise2 жыл бұрын
If you are looking for upmarket in Cebu City, the Radisson Blu is nice. Bai hotel although in Mandaue is a good option. The older Marco Polo is worth looking at. Holiday Inn have just opened a new hotel in Cebu City it's pretty nice.

@AuroraCash6 жыл бұрын
OH I am sure.. I am hoping that when I go this summer break that the prices will be down. Thanks for sharing
@FindingParadise6 жыл бұрын
These are average prices. They are not set in stone, so they can go up and down depending if it's high/low season. Resorts in Bantayan Island during Holy week can go up 3x or more! Some resorts give discounts to local residents. If you stay at a resort for an extended period sometimes you can negotiate a better rate. So do your homework. Cheers Rob
@AuroraCash6 жыл бұрын
@@FindingParadise yeah I guess especially summer break there.

These are the actual room rates which you can see on booking websites and the official resort websites. Also the markers for resorts on Google Maps give you the spread of rates over several booking sites by choosing particular dates in the left pane. But true, many Filipinos are a long way from being able to afford these resorts.

have been live in phillipines for manny,manny year ,now i am aut and sailing ,but when i see oll this bjutyfull videoes from phillipines ,than i wondering way ther are no cruiser (sailingboat`s) ther in phillipines ? ,i think ther are to manny pirate ther ,so oll sailingsboat`s are afreid to seiling to philippines ,so President Deterte have forget to clean up the cost of Filipines , clean up cost of philippines then you have more turist and cruiser and better okomony ,more monny by tourist,i like to sailing ther ,but with oll pirates i dont like,, bjutyfull philippines ,but,,

Ive seen people sailing around the Philippines. I'm not the familiar with how popular it is. All I would think is not to sail too far south, there are some area in Mindanao which would be dangerous to sail.
