Sean would be the best addition to sf6, he's overall perfect. Hints that Ken is his master, he could have a good rivalry with Luke. (also with the fact that Luke pretty much stole Sean's ENTIRE move set) it could also be good with his story because in sf5 it shows that he's just starting and in sf3 (which comes before sf6 story-wise) he's now a beginner fighter. it would be cool to see that Sean has now evolved in his fighting style and uses the electric powers that his sister has to his advantage (maybe with a new type of shoruken). but yeah, I really want Sean to be in sf6. It would be stupid to not have him. (also urien has to be in there too, he's cool)

I'd like to see Sean back but embracing more of his family's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but keeping some of Ken's striking style, he could easily make a legit MMA rival to Luke with the mix of BJJ and Ken's techniques. Making him a bit of a grappler would be a good way to evolve him past just another shoto.

my opinion on this list picks Least wanted characters: 5. Vega: i kinda agree, i don't hate Vega or anything, but with Shadaloo gone, i would'nt be mad if he did'nt come back. If we're talking about the Shadaloo generals, Balrog could return since there would be potential story to tell since he also have a arc with Ed (regardless of what i or anyone think of ED). Abel, don't necesarilly agree, i get that people don't care too much about him...but that's the thing, People don't really hate anything about him either, they just find him bland. When i thin "should never returns" i think of characters that have some elements that makes people actively hate them. Abel's problem could be fixed extremely easily (especially with how World tour mode handles charactersisation): He lacks personality, which is something that people acquire through meetings and life experiences, which Abel lacked due to his lack of memories. Just states that with S.I.N gone he is no longer stuck in constant brooding moping mode, he got to travel and experience the world and developped more of a personality as a result. if anything i'd want him to come back because this would be interesting to see. Karin. I love Karin and hope 5 was'nt her final appearance, but i would'nt be mad if she did'nt return for 6 specifically. Poison. i don't hate on Poison, but i agree that it would be more interesting to either bring back another Final Fight character, or use one who never got to be playable in Street Fighter. (and Cody, since he is the mayor). F.A.N.G: i don't hate him and would'nt be mad if he returned, but i get why people don't like him, and wouldn't be mad if he did not return either. Top ten character to return: 10. Eagle. Would be cool, and i agree that if they wanted to bring a SF1 rep (aside from Ryu, Sagat, and Ken, obviously) it would have to be him as a older british gentleman. On the other hand, i don't NEED a SF1 rep either, and if we could only get one Brittish Gentleman, it would be. 9. Dudley. i think he should have been in the base roster as the Boxer character, that would have been a nice SF 3 representative (there should have been one). i get why they'd pick Ed as the first boxer (hopefully not the last) since he has a ongoing plot arc, but c'mon. 8. I agree i want to see a adult Batsu. Responsible, but still HOT-BLOODED. nothing more to add. 7. Menat, not the character i'm personally that invested with, but objectively it makes perfect sense. if not in 6, she'll surely returns one day. 6. EX character. Why not, would be a cool "surprise" pick. i don't see it happening due to theses characters situations, but that would be cool. my personal choices would be Skullomania or Hokuto maybe Sharon (though if we get a secret agent, C-Viper would make more sense?). 5. Fei Long. He is cool, and it would be interesting to have a older Fei Long. 4. Sakura, i like Sakura, but more importantly, i want Capcom to reassure everyone that they were'nt trying to retire her in SF5 with the whole "maybe i want to quit fighting" mood she had. She should be allowed to grow older like every character. Sakura as a Working adult, still full of her energy and determination would be awesome. 3. Haggar. I too hope one day he get to be playable in a SF game. Sadly he apparently really is dead. maybe if they make a game set between 3 and 6 someday. 2. Soddom. Would make an other good potential Final Fight rep. though i think he should be a reformed vilain like the other Mad Gears like poison and Hugo or Abigail, i do like the idea of him hanging with the actual japaneses characters like Honda. or maybe he would've joined Zeku's movement (Zeku would be a interesting returnee, too, btw). 1. Makoto. my main in Street Fighter IV, most wanted character for 6, and one of my favortie characters in general. So i completely agree. I was pleasantly surprised to realise that many other wanted her to return when i started looking at Street FIghter content. Honestly, maybe the reason she is'nt in the base roster is that Capcom kept her to have some exciting, higly wanted character to release as DLC.

Not to mention that Retsu is already an npc on world tour mode and, as a small detail, the construction company Ken is working for belongs to Eagle's estate. So would be down to see him return. I just hope that his personality doesn't overlap with Dudley as I wouldn't mind having both of them in the game.

I have the same concern about Eagle and Dudley being too similar, but I think Eagle is open enough to interpretation that they can make him more unique while keeping him recognizable.

As much as I really want Ibuki back, I get that she probably would be similar to Kimberly... but I would love them to interact. I think that would be gold. Also, one character I would love to see playable would be Geki II, Geki's successor. If you need a replacement for Vega, there's your answer, plus, he also has a sword too so he can do some different things from the orignal Geki and Vega. I just think it would be odd to introduce a successor character in the series and just do nothing with him, especally with a game that is supposed to establish a new generation with characters like Lily and Kimberly

If they consider Haggar, it would be cool to have him use some moves from his Saturday Night Slam Master days. Eagle is a good choice. I think in game, 6 takes place 21 years after 1. He'd either be a really seasoned martial artist or they'd create a young protégé. Or they'd go the representation route and give us a filipino escrima master(which would kick ass). I'd be so hyped if they bring back Sean and/or Alex. Urien would be cool too. One move capcom could do that would be really interesting is dig up a concept character from that fighting game they were unable to make, like how Luke was loosely based off of one of those characters.

Vega would actually be the #1 most important returning character lore-wise, due to his role in SF3. After the events of SF2 (ignoring SFV for a sec), Vega is exonerated in court for a variety of reasons I won't get into here to avoid writing an essay in the comments section, but is placed under constant surveillance because he's dangerous, not entirely trustworthy and psychologically unstable. Then the guy just straight up vanishes after his preliminary match with Alex in SF3, which takes place after SFV. You'd expect Interpol and Delta Red to be shitting bricks and a goddamn manhunt to ensue, and if the games bothered to honor the lore about Delta Blue, then there'd be a race between what is essentially Team Cammy and Team Chun-Li/Guile to get to him first which would bring the former Shadaloo Dolls and the pre-SF2 Turbo heroes into conflict, because while Vega is by no means Cammy and co.'s favorite person, due to various lore reasons they are likely to be most inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt and try to protect him or get answers from him, while Guile would be more inclined to put a bullet between his eyes.

overall i think most picks need to mix with other characters to warrant a spot, Eagle could become the master of all stick fighting so Relento/Falke styles with maki/lucia kicks so he teaching new folks these stick style moves. Batsu should become a teacher like Luke but should have other Rival school moves like Kyosuke, some of the sports teams moves, and his dads savage moves. Sean with his sisters moves and his mixed so fire and shock moves. Sakura, Menat, Elana and Makoto are perfect of the young bloods left out of this new generation game being in 4 and 5 are updated enough but maybe Rose, and Dan moves to add in.

Sean and Haggar. Let those two show up and I don’t care how much of the roster is filled with people we’ve already seen across the last 3 or 4 games. But Dan especially better not return before Sean does.

After your Poison comment, I thought you were gonna argue that Ibuki should come back for 6 despite her being in the last 4 games hahaha 3, 4, SFxT, and 5. She can definitely sit this one out to let another good character return. Really nice video. I liked your arguments If any of the 4 i mentioned return, I'll be super happy. SF6 is taking a new direction on their roster diversity and devs said they don't want too many Japanese characters. I wouldn't expect Sakura or Makoto to come back, even tho they're classics. I definitely see Menat being added eventually.

Even if they did come back, that would make only 5 japaneses (with Ryu, Honda, Akuma), that's still reasonable. (just right now, there is already 4 americans, and i would' be surprise if no 5th one appear) Though it probably means Dan is not coming back.
