Rest In Peace EVH. You inspired every guitarist in one way or another.

Well, he never inspired Hendrix or, say syd Barrett or like anyone that stopped before he started!
@rkphighroller4 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Brown Syd Barrett was a half decent guitar player who was more known for his lyrics. Are you referring to the actual guitarist in the group, David Gilmour? Because he inspired people in his own way too with long drawn out bends and eclectic note choices.
@jeremybrown74704 жыл бұрын
@@rkphighroller no, syd was a shit guitar player that heavily relied on chromatic blues walkdowns and post psychedelic arrangements of cowboy chords with a major 7th. He was just shit, let's get it straight. Also yea his lyrics are well known for their retardness, I don't know how he is known for his lyrics since most of the time it's rats, baby lemonade send a clock through a washing machine iron hands clap outside too much acid to write something that makes sense in once sentence
@jeremybrown74704 жыл бұрын
@@rkphighroller but not I'm not referring to gilmour, because gilmour was a part of the scene which featured Eddie Van halen at any point after 1978 so he was, in one way or another influenced by Eddie.

I play it both ways just for variety but running the progression up the neck is much more challenging and just a better way to go, in my opinion. Js. ROCK-ON!
