glad u like the show bro. keep at it and remember this. it isn't the destination but the journey that matters. no matter what your tracks end up like, you should treasure the process of MAKING them. only use music that REALLY moves you.

Another banger of a video -- and I really like what u did thee at the end.

Loved the whole volume, instant favorite. The intro was the shit, I swear I just got that Lee Dorsey song a few weeks back and had to decide which of the many songs it was sampled for to pair it with and Fat Joe was the winner. You made it wonderfully clear how that beat was used, love to see you do the same with Melvin Bliss's Synthetic Substitution ( know you did the song already just saying).

Great video. You inspired me to get Logic Pro for my Mac recently and amma start hookin' up some beats. If I produce anything that ain't a complete embarrassment then I'll send it to ya.

Clever ending! This has been one of my favourites! Amazes me how some of my favourie artists from the past keep popping up. Eddie Russ big tune over here in Little Ole was "Zaius" and Reuben Wilson "Got to get your own" I saw Reuben Wilson with Grant Green Junior (great singing voice) and Bernard Purdie in a Trio at the Jazz Cafe in London - They were fantastic!!! QUESTION - Does anyone know if "The Al Foster Band - Night of the wolf" has been sampled???

Hey Funktuall! I know you think very highly of De La Soul and that's awesome! Since watching your vids I've checked out more and more of their stuff... other than ME MYSELF AND I the only other song I really knew from them was off the judgement night soundtrack a GREAT tune "Fallin' " from De la Soul and Teenage Fanclub. I think this jam is awesome...and is in my top rated tunes on my itunes playlist. What are your thoughts on it ?

@FUNKtionDJ Aww. Been wondering where you been. Keith is actually the person who sent me "The Ultimate Breaks" series when I didn't even know they existed. I had been following samples the old fashioned way prior to that. Thanks for all your contributions to the show, brother.

I may have to end up getting something like that. Any small single CD units that work in the same vein? Still want you to do that video someday. As always funk... Peace. I'll have a little somethin somethin for you in the morning...

Digable Planets' albums were so dope. But got to say Illmatic is amazing one of the few albums I can put on I not ever really care if I listen to it all day.... And I have + 300 albums in my collection and still Illmatic has the highest play count. A close second would be Shad K's "The Old Prince"... for those who don't know to much Canadian Hip Hop rather dope, or The Roots' "Illadelph Halphlife"

I have been looking for Amerie's sample- Why don't we fall in love (its not "hip hop" I know). And Funk, what happened to all the Del the FUNKY homosapien samples? esp from Deltron 3030! here's one, William Sheller- Introit (used for Deltron- 3030).

Sorry whoops can't forget... pretty much everything A Tribe Called Quest has done. Midnight Marauders is beyond great I could listen to that album front ways, back ways, side ways... pretty much if you read Dr. Seuss' "Green Eggs and Ham" and replace the item with any of those albums I mentioned except would reply yes. Only problem I have is the anti-gay line by Phife Dawg on Oh My God.
