Laurel Lane We rarely watch msMojo precisely because she is in love with her own, shrill, never-ending tirade! We can almost hear Maggie Smith go “Thank you, dear, for ruining these 3 minutes for us all. I believe we all were perfectly happy until you were introduced to us.Tell me, do you ever feel the need to keep quiet for just a minute? I must assume that silence is a novelty concept to you.”

Yes totally agree. No offense mojo, but we clicked on this to hear a great compilation of the incredible Dame Maggie Smith, not you people. And besides, I would bet everyone who has wanted to watch this compilation has seen downtown abbey, so the narration in this situation just kinda killed the entire point of the compilation. Give your audience more credit, as an actress myself, I just found the narration seriously annoying. If you’re any bit of an artistic person, you pick up on the wonderful little artistic acting nuances and the narration just killed this compilation. Sorry 🤷🏻♀️

I'm surprised they left out the line when Violet was talking to Larry Grey's fiancée Amelia about her true reasons for wanting Isobel to marry Lord Merton. As things started to get heated Amelia said. "I shall forget you said that, but you should go now. Much more and we may feel awkward when we meet, which we are bound to do." to which Violet responded. "I think not, Miss Cruikshank. Not if I see you first." Personally, I feel that is more savage than "Do you promise".

However, for fans like me who haven't watched in a great while, and therefore may not exactly recall the context of some of Lady Grantham's many zingers, or, those who may not be fans but are curious, or who simply enjoy 'list' videos, may find it necessary. Because short of context many of these wouldn't prove as amusing.
